Like the title says, it's 2am so don't expect much sense in this post. XP
This is just something I came across:
When All Else Fails: Dating Tips From the Animal Kingdom
Don't ask how and why I found this. lol
I'm just having major issues with this column. Do people have to be dating and be out every weekend nights? If we don't, are we comsidered to be unhappy in life by others? So you've gone a year without a date, big deal.
This just reminds me of how my cousins thought I'm a lesbian just coz I never dated before... And this was when I was about 16! O.o Bloody hell, imagine what they think of me now. Not that I care either way. X3
Oh and this section in the column:
Problem No. 1: You can't find anyone eligible
The next time you find yourself complaining that you can't find anyone to date, stop. You're approaching it all wrong. It's not that you can't find anyone suitable: The problem is, no one can find you.
This is confusing me to no end. You can't find anyone coz no one can find you. So who's looking for who now? @.@
The part about the giraffe... Ew. Just ew.
Oh and this:
So if you don't look like a supermodel, take heart: To someone, you'll look like someone who is attainable.
"Attainable"? That's just insulting. DX Every girl is great in their own way. And those models have nothing on us real girls who can actually eat food on dates. Any man who read that column and took the writer's advice and tried asking me out would have better luck dating a supermodel.
Got a dating question for me? Or a plain old question about anything else? Send me mail and I'll see what I can do.
Don't hold your breath, lady.
Please note that this post DOES NOT imply anything about my social life.
Curly hair update: The curlers worked. But it didn't last long since I didn't use any styling products. Oh well. We'll see how it goes next time. ^^
... Like I thought, this post made no sense... I'm not sure why I'm going to post this at all. But I am curious about what people would think about the column so... *clicks Add Post*
"I'm not a teacher: only a fellow-traveller of whom you asked the way. I pointed ahead--ahead of myself as well as you." -- George Bernard Shaw
I'm sure there were some people who noticed the new World I made on here: Project Japanese. So I thought I should explain a little about this. And it'll also give me a reason to post. XP
So Project Japanese is something Master Hiko, Michiyo Shimizu and I are working on. I'm not going into details in this post, but I can tell you that I'm the one who's making the lessons...
After 1 week of planning, 2 text books, 3 dictionaries, 4 websites, 5 hours and a couple billion brain cells, I finished writing up the first lesson last night at about 3am. And let me tell you, it was damn hard. But I'm feeling proud of myself since Michi seems to like it, so it was all worth it. (Hiko I just sent it to your Yahoo e-mail)
I'm really hoping that Project Japanese will go well. Although I am nervous about it coz I'm not a teacher. Soon we'll find out if a translation student can teach... >.>
*cough*I doubt it*cough*
Project Japanese will be a learning experience for all of us.
In other news, I'm typing this with rollers in my hair (only about half way up my hair). O.o Why? I don't know... My hair dresser curled my hair a few times before, mum liked it, saw cheap rollers on Avon and yeah... ^^''' It's really light weight, but so annoying. Gah~! My hair's really stubborn so I don't think this will work. Oh well, as long as no one sees me like this. LOL
Mum said that I have to sleep with these things in my hair. NO WAY! I'm taking them out before I go to bed. They've already started to slide out of my hair anyway.
*bites a roller*
Right... I only intended to be gone for a week. *whistles innocently* The thing is... I have completely forgotten why I left in the first place. @_@ Sorry. ^^'''
Anyway, I gotta go to class now. I shall be back and active again when I get home. ^^
And for the hell of it, here's a picture of my new bonsai tree. His name is TC and he's a sakura tree. X3 I named him after TimeChaser so that I won't kill the tree by forgetting to water him. LOL
I'm going to leave for a bit... Just thought I should post so that no one would worry.
I'll see all of you later.
Sorry I haven't posted in a while. ^^' Couldn't be bothered, had nothing to say and I was also sick for a while. ^^"""
Anyway, I have to post right now coz it's TRADITION! XD Lol. I always have to post when I'm watching the movie "Love Actually". I posted when I watched it this time last year on TV. And once again like 6 months ago or something... Well, the tradition actually is to post while I watch Hugh Grant dance in the movie... But I missed it. XP But I was commenting on Innocent Heart's post during it. XD
This is my fourth time watching this movie on TV... I really should just go and buy the DVD. It might make me post more. X3
I suppose I should say something worthwhile since I'm posting... Um... My winter holidays end on Tuesday so I'm going back to uni. T.T I only have classes on Tesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, so I can't complain. XD
PhotoBucket's still a pain... I hope I can upload all the pictures soon...
Right then that's it! XD
LOVE IS ALL AROUND US!!! XD
