Hi Minna! :)
I'm Hikokoromi, but you can call me Hiko-chan. My real life name is Anni, and I'm 14 years old. I'm from a little country in Europe, called Hungary. So excuse me for my poor English.:$ My blood type is 0. I play the piano, sing, draw and always have fun with my friends. I really like all different types of arts. I'm incredibly sweet toothed; I love lollipop, pudding, chocolate etc. I'm a bright and positive person, though sometimes I'm a big idiot. I love colorful things and cute things, too. I started liking anime and manga two years ago. It was like I found a lost part of me, I felt really complete. So I'm really happy to know this Japanese culture, even if people around me don't really appreciate it. So I think, that's all.
In this rainbow colored world I'll post things about mostly myself, but of course, related to my otakuness.:D I hope it'll cheer everyone up, even a little bit. ^^
I'm new here so everyone, please treat me kindly.
*bow*
Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!

peace & love; Hiko-chan~ :3

PS: my all time favorite is Shugo Chara! :P

shoujo manga fangirl mode ;ON xD

Greetings people!

What's up? I haven't been here on theO for a while. I'm so busy with school. I'll be graduating and going to high school, so we have a lot of things to worry about now. Tomorrow we well have pictures taken by some professional lady. A hairdresser will come too, I'll only get my hair straightened. I don't want anything fancy, besides my friends said I should just have the usual 'Anni-style-hair' or something like that. :D We will have a really nice blouse, white with black buttons, some frills and a belt just for decoration. LOL I bought new glasses for this big event! xD
...Well that's not entirely true. My eyesight has gone worse, so it was necessary. But I really lurve it. <3 It's black and thick, but not too nerdy. If you understand what I mean. :P

Ahh, enough of this graduation thingy! I've enough of it at school. ^^"

I wanted to tell that I'll delay the anime review thing for a little while. I'm too lazy, and I want to wait a few episodes to write a better review. :) (...I dunno if somebody was even reading this... xD)

Everyone, check out Crazy For You manga by Shiina Karuho-sensei (author of the popular Kimi Ni Todoke). I've just finished reading it on mangafox and it was awesome. It made my heart beat fast and made my cry hard at the same time. :)
It's about Sachi a really cute and carefree girl, who goes to a group date (goukon) with her friends. She meets a sweet guy, called Yuki there and falls for him. The problem is that he's someone who plays with girls and has a lot of problems around him. As the story slowly unfolds, many surprising things happen ,but we still get a happy end. I recommend it to the fans of the shoujo and romance genre, and who want to read a love story full of drama. :3

BTW isn't Tanemaru Arina-sensei's art epic? I love how she draws everything so detailed. Here's an eyecandy for you, Full Moon fans! Meroko and Mitsuki in lovely clothes. <3 ^^

From now on I hate hide-and-seek! :/

Wassup, dear otakus? xD

Whoa, yesterday I was really unlucky. I was playing hide-and-seek at my grandparents' house. They have chickens and pigs in the back, so we went to hide there with my cousin.(7 years old lol) Then I stepped on some foil like thing. And just my luck, my feet started sinking in something, literally! :/ Turned out it was disgusting sewage or something lite that. Bleeeh, I was all smelly and had to wear my Grandma's clothes. ^^" Thanks, God! xD
Today in school I continued persuading my friends into watching anime.
One of them really likes Death Note. ^^ Once she said; "I love reading anime!" I was like, WHAT!!? O_o I nearly exploded. :D
The other idiot friend of mine likes DN too, and always goes one ranting about how handsome and hot Mikami Teru is. -.-"
My best friend, Mercedes, loves anime and manga. Her favorite is Vampire Knight. :D But nowadays she get's lazy, and starts reading these vampire-romance-drama type books instead.:3

As promised, here comes:
SPRING ANIMES 2010 review, Part 1

Shin Koihime†Musō: Otome Tairan

Short Summary: Kashin is afflicted with a disease that will turn her into a cat if an antidote is not found, and Kada is still seeking the Crucial Ways to the Key of Peace, so he entrusts Kanuu's group to go seek the ingredients for an antidote.
Genres: adventure, comedy, fantasy
Themes: ecchi, fanservice, parody, yuri

Well, I don't watch yuri and fanservice animes, so this was a no for me. ^^ The opening is well done, I like the animation. So I can't really rate, let's have someone liking this kind of anime do that. ;)

Kaichou wa Maid-sama!

Short Summary: Misaki Ayuzawa is the first female student council president at a once all boys school turned co-ed. She rules the school with strict discipline demeanor. But she has a secret, she works at a maid cafe due to her families circumstances. One day the popular A student and notorious heart breaker Takumi Usui finds out her secret and makes a deal with her to keep it hush from the school in exchange for spending some time with him.
Genres: comedy, romance
Themes: maid, school

Wow, I love it! I've been reading the manga since who knows when, it's one of my favorites! Of course I like the original better. :) The opening was not the best one I've seen, but the animation and the music was cute. For me the ending was really great. Both the song and the animation was amazing! <3 The animation was a little strange, especially compared to the manga's style. But overall, I think it was nicely done. Still, Usui could have been a little smexier.
The seiyuu's were good. Especially Misaki's, Satsuki's and Yukimura's. :) Usui's was good too, but somehow still not the best for me. :) The only thing strange for me, were the background drawings. Somehow, they are different than the design of the anime... But all in all it's a 4/5 for me. :3

Hakuōki

Short Summary: Based on Idea Factory's romance adventure game: Yukimura Chizuru has come to Kyoto looking for her father, a doctor who has gone missing. While there, she witnesses a fight between an Oni and the Shinsengumi. Taking her into custody, the Shinsengumi debates on what to do with Chizuru when they discover that she is the daughter of the doctor they are also looking for. The Shinsengumi then takes Chizuru along on their search after the missing doctor, from adventures to adventures.
Genres: drama, romance
Themes: samurai, historical, bishounen

Well I watched the first episode. It wasn't bad, seems like an interesting story. I hope it won't get boring. ^^ The guys are cool too. And I smell some romance, definitely. :D The girl seemed okay for me, but I still don't know much about her. After 1 episode it's hard to say much things. :P The animation is good, the characters are detailed. The music fits the anime. All in all, I'll continue watching and eagerly wait for more action. ;)
PS: It's based on a otome game. wohho, I really hope for some romance. :3

That's all for today, I'll continue in Part 2.
peace; Hiko-chan~

Doesn't Amu-chan look super kawaii in this picture? I really love her ribbons! ^^<3

Walking in a strawberry cake is fun! ^__^

Hiya Minna!

Wow, I can't believe it. I've joined theOtaku just a few days ago, but I already have friends and everyone is so nice to me here. I want to thank the people who welcomed me, PMed me, or just visited my world, portfolio (which is still empty ^^"). You're all amazing! :D
This is my first post so I had trouble deciding what to write about. I won't introduce myself, because I've already done it. So instead I'll post about random things that interest me lately. :)
Well first a very cute story. I have a cousin, he's a 4 year-old little boy. When he visits us to play with my little sister, he always notices my laptop. So he asks me to let him watch the cartoons he likes. A week ago the same happened and I made a mistake. Instead of his favorite cartoon, Shugo Chara! Pucchi Pucchi anime started playing.^^" To my biggest surprise, he enjoyed it! Even if he didn't understand a word he asked for more! It was amusing. :D Then we watched Kobato anime, and he always asked me: 'Why is the blue dog always angry with the little girl?' He was so cute. It's a pity I didn't take a picture. :S But I was happy, and swore to make him an otaku when he grows up! muhhaha xD
Oh and I think next time I'll probably do a little 'review and rating' of the new spring animes.I watched most of them; there were ones that I liked, ones that I didn't. So look forward to it! ;)
For the end of the post, I'll insert my new favorite: K-ON!!'s (K-ON 2nd season) ending. The songs are great as expected. I love Yōko Hikasa's voice. It's so amazing. *-* The opening is okay too, it's really energetic.(Yui RULZ! :3) And as always they have great outfits.
I'm really happy about the new season. xD I'm eagerly waiting for the new (moe xD) episodes. :3

Walking in strawberry cakes must be fun. I want to try! ^^

with love; Hiko-chan

PS: School starts on Monday (for me)! :/ I won't be able to post too much, but I'll try my best. :P
