City experiance day 3

Today at the train staion (the one we leave from to get to the city) a teacher confiscated Penny's hat for no apparent reason. I had to stand the whole train ride. Not fun. It was colder today than it has been for the rest of the week, but not cold, just mild. The first place we went to was soundhouse. It's like a recording studio place, but it's not a recording studio. I think. We got to play around on fancy recording programs, and we go back tommorow. Then in our "free time" we went around looking at clothing stores, and no, not like that. We're not fashion obsessed air heads. We looked at places with awesome stuff like loli dresses and things. We spent the rest of the day at the MCG. Jeez, do I have to explaine everything to you international readers? MCG = Melbourne Cricket Ground. The easiest way to get there is to catch a tram, but nooooooo, Michelle didn't let us catch a tram, she made us walk. ANd then Penny got us lost. It turned out we were at the wrong side of the "area" that the MCG was in. It took us ages to get to where we needed to be. Lowana and I were very annoyed. Lowana yelled at us to stop playing the game (she ment the blame game) but I just said "you mean the one I just lost?" We did get there eventually. It was quite boring there, due to the fact that it was full of stuff about sport. (If you don't know allready, I hate sport. Unlass you count cosplaying as a sport.) I thought it was boring until I saw a sing that said "road block". Up ahead there was one that said "fast forward" (We chose not to complete and to continue the race as usual.) And a bit later on we saw one that said "route info". Yup, it was some sort of advertising campaign for ANZ with the amazing race. After that we ate some food. Penny was eating a kiwi fruit with a straw. It was funny. On the train ride back I had a seat. I read death note and pita-ten. My feet are still sore.

City experiance day 2

The train was squishy again.Penny brought her game boy colour, and we played tetris. It's funny because she was concentrating on playing so much, she didn't notice that Steven took her bag and was going through it. It was funny because she was just looking at her game going "Wahh! Stop it!" He then got out her hair brush and started to brush her hair, as she was playing tetris. It was so funny. Whenever Penny's getting annoyed it's funny. We started off with free time, so Michelee made us go to Flinder's st station so we could meet her Uncle. After that we went to the immigration museum. THat was pretty boring. We then had to get to the Melbourne Museum quickly. We got there after the other group, so our teacher started yelling out calling them bastards. (Yup, setting a great example.) The Melbourne musuem was also boring, because we only visited that 2 weeks ago in an excursion. Then we had an hour and a half free time. We went to Shibuya and looked at lolita dresses. Waaa!!! I want one sooo badly! We also went to Minataur (pop culture shop) and looked at manga and plushies etc. Penny dragged us to comics r us, because she loves comics. It was really hot today. For those of you who don't live in Australia, it's currently spring. The funny thing is, last week, the first half of year nine went on city experience and it rained every day and was freezing. This week it's lovely summer like weather. Haha! Suckers! Yeah. It was even squishier on the train ride back, due to the fact that 3 women with prams gor onto the train. My feet are sooo sore from walking everywhere. Oh well.

City experiance day 1

It was sardines on the train! I had to stand up the whole (1 hour) train ride, but to pass the time I read pita-ten. First up our group had to do orientation. Each group had to find 2 different locations, and then me up at the Yarra river. The first place was easy to find, the second one though...
It was 340 Flinders st, and we went there. There was this door that was bordered up and painted black and was covered in graffiti, next to it was a golf shop. But next to the bordered up door was 340. We weren't sure what was the right place. It turned out it was the golf shop. It's a good thing we put that down on hte answer sheet. Overall, we turned up at Yarra river third. We then had a herratige walk. A man talked to us about indigeneous Australians from Melbourne and stuuf about aborigines. It was hard to concentrait, because the weather was so nice and warm, and then you'd get the cool breeze comming off the Yarra. But the sun sure was beating down hard and we all got sunburnt. And as if sunburn wasn't bad enough, I just gor sunburnt on one half of my face! I look weird! Because the herritage walk went over time, we missed out on lunch and had to go straight to the state library. That was pretty boring. After that was an hour free time. We went to 7-11 and got slurpies. Then we sat on the grass in the warm sun and ate a late lunch. We then had to meet up at Fedoration square to have the roll call and stuff, and guess what! THe nice people from spring valley were handing out free bottles of drink! It was the perfect thing to cool us down! And I get to do it all again tommorow! Hooray!

(It's funny because only people from Melbourne/Australia know what I'm talking about!)

Vroom!

The title has nothing to do with this post.

My wallet was missing and I couldn't find it so I searched the whole house for it. Whilst searching I found my hat that's been missing for ages, and my flashlight that disapeared. I did end up finding my wallet, it was burried down between my sisters bed and the wall. Tommorow I'm going to city experience! It's what all year nines do. We just go to the city everyday for a week and do things, like go to museums and stuff. We also have to do a project about a "theme". My groups theme is fashion. So that means we can go to lolita stores for "research". Yes, deffinatly research, not for the fact that I love lolita, who told you that? *Eyes shift around* This also means I have to be at the train station at 7:30 am. Gah! I normally get up at 7:00! That's just way too early man! And then there's the boring 1 hour train ride into the city. But it will all be fun. Yeah, that's just what's going on in my life right now.

yay!
