It was sardines on the train! I had to stand up the whole (1 hour) train ride, but to pass the time I read pita-ten. First up our group had to do orientation. Each group had to find 2 different locations, and then me up at the Yarra river. The first place was easy to find, the second one though...
It was 340 Flinders st, and we went there. There was this door that was bordered up and painted black and was covered in graffiti, next to it was a golf shop. But next to the bordered up door was 340. We weren't sure what was the right place. It turned out it was the golf shop. It's a good thing we put that down on hte answer sheet. Overall, we turned up at Yarra river third. We then had a herratige walk. A man talked to us about indigeneous Australians from Melbourne and stuuf about aborigines. It was hard to concentrait, because the weather was so nice and warm, and then you'd get the cool breeze comming off the Yarra. But the sun sure was beating down hard and we all got sunburnt. And as if sunburn wasn't bad enough, I just gor sunburnt on one half of my face! I look weird! Because the herritage walk went over time, we missed out on lunch and had to go straight to the state library. That was pretty boring. After that was an hour free time. We went to 7-11 and got slurpies. Then we sat on the grass in the warm sun and ate a late lunch. We then had to meet up at Fedoration square to have the roll call and stuff, and guess what! THe nice people from spring valley were handing out free bottles of drink! It was the perfect thing to cool us down! And I get to do it all again tommorow! Hooray!
(It's funny because only people from Melbourne/Australia know what I'm talking about!)
