This is just a world for me to post a bit about me and anything I find interesting.
About Me
Favorite Anime/Manga: Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, DuRaRaRa!!, Soul Eater, Hetalia, Code Geass, Death Note, Pokemon, Tsubasa, xxxHolic, Fruits Basket, Big Windup!, Eden of the East, Clannad, D. Gray-man, Blue Exorcist, Ouran High School Host Club, Black Butler, Kaichou wa Maid-Sama!, K-ON!, Bakuman, Cardcaptor Sakura
Favorite Video Games: I mostly play RPGs, my all time favorite is Kingdom Hearts (the whole series). I also like Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Pokemon games :D, Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, some racing games and baseball or soccer games, Assassin's Creed
Music: I'll listen to anything as long as I like it. I usually listen to J-Rock, J-Pop, Alternative and Punk, Spanish Rock, Classical and some Pop...the list goes on...
I guess it's 'cause I was so focused on finishing FMA. It did not disappoint. I always tried to deny how amazing it was so my friend wouldn't be too proud of herself for recommending it...but it's impossible now. I have to say it is the best anime I've seen. There are certain characters you grow really attached to, you literally end up laughing and crying with them. I couldn't stop the tears (both of joy and sorrow) from falling...
Anyway...I've started reading new manga since I can't get my hands on the school ones. My sister has been raiding her school library, so since then, I've read the first two volumes of Dragon Drive, the first of D.N. Angel and the first three of Fruits Basket (my friend let me borrow these). The last two aren't my usual manga genre (shounen) but I like them ^-^
School's been pretty fun especially P.E., which suprised me 'cause I usually hate that class. Learning Italian in government class is fun too :D Physics is the killer >.> the damn teacher is starting to annoy me (earlier than usual) She demands that we ask questions, even though most of those in the class had AP Physics B last year and that we can do the constant velocity and acceleration stuff subconsciously. I really hope she doesn't stay on kinematics for the whole semester like last year...but I bought the study book, so I'm prepared to ignore her >:D
Yesterday, my sister and I decided to catch up and beat my friend Bloo Yoshi to the end of FMA: Brotherhood. We've went from episode 30 to 43 yesterday watching 5 hours non-stop; today we only watched up to 49, but at the pace we're going we're sooo going to catch up since she can only watch every Saturday ^-^
I finally caught up to where I left off in the manga :D And, Col. Mustang's coming out more frequently ^-^
This is the 3rd opening song to Brotherhood :D I love this song
Here's another Brotherhood song just 'cause I'm in such am FMA mood (ED4)
My school has no librarian now and no one's allowed to go inside and check out any books >.<
This totally sucks 'cause:
1) All that manga is just sitting on the shelves, gathering dust, waiting to be read by me, but I can't go anywhere near it. To make matters worse, the library walls are basically huge windows...so I can SEE the manga whenever I pass by (which I try to avoid altogether).
2) The librarian was awesome! I've known him since middle school and he took the job at our school library when the school opened. I would go to the library, get my books and then hang out with my friends there and debate with the librarian about baseball teams (or other random topic). Not only that, he always recommended new books and kept the library pretty much up to date with manga (as much as a school can be) and new fiction releases. I hate how the district fired so many teachers and other people that loved their jobs and actually cared about students and let some horrible teachers stay my physics teacher
So now, because of this, I'm making my sister raid HER school library for manga...the only problem is that they don't have any of the ones I was reading (except Kingdom Hearts)
Here's a Soul Eater song 'cause I'm almost done watching it :'( I wish it wouldn't end...but I want to see what happens >.< This song took me a while to get used to, but I like it now...
My first week of school was great :D I love how in every class I've got friends unlike last year, I'm rarely alone now. It's so much fun with them, we talk and laugh all through class AND get our work done. Even the strict teachers are cool (I knew my history teacher wasn't one that would take late work, so no more procrastinating for me)
Yesterday, my mom took us shopping right after school...my feet still hurt from that trip >.> but it was so much fun. We saw a salon in the mall, which reminded me that I still want to permanently straighten my hair. See, my hair is really curly and kinda frizzy. Not extremely, but enough to annoy me...and I've always wanted straight hair. My mom said that if I found out how much it is and I save up half, he'd let me get one...I decided to research today to find the estimated price and whether or not my hair would get ruined. Turns out I have to save up a lot -.- there goes my 3DS... I think I'll wait though so my hair'll be nice for graduation (yes, I just started school and I'm already thinking about graduation)
I can't believe I haven't posted a Durarara!! song yet, so here it is. I love this song.
Oh, I almost forgot! For my Engineering class I have to either come up with a totally new product or come up with ways to improve an existing one. I was wondering if any of you had any ideas as to stuff that could be improved to make it easier to use or make it more useful. Any help would be appreciated! *you can be as crazy as you want with your ideas, it's a brainstorm, so anything goes* Thanks!
I got to see all my friends. We had so much to talk about that it was hard to keep quiet in class. A lot of the good teachers are gone, but the new teachers aren't too bad (at least for the first day) My SLC's schedule was changed so I won't get to see my friends from the other schools during passing periods...
My schedule for this year:
AP Language
AP Calculus
Engineering Development and Design
AP Physics C (I wasn't able to get out of the class -.-)
Government
Advanced Conditioning (>.> P.E.)
Home Period
I'm really looking forward to my Engineering class :)
I'm also really glad I got my home period at the end of the day, but it'll only be every other day since my school's on a block schedule >.>
I'm probably going to die in P.E., the new teacher looks like he's run a boot camp before >.< I'm no good when it comes to running unless it's for my life
Today was also my sister's first day of middle school. She got two of my old teachers :D I hope she's ready to be tortured by my favorite English/History teacher >:D
I didn't like this song when I first heard it...but then I got used to it. Now I love it
