People >.>

I was reminded, yet again, why I dislike the majority of the human population.

I was with two other friends in the ballroom/study room at the dorms. There was only one other girl there on the other side of the place. My ears hurt from wearing my earphones for too long, so I asked my friends if they would mind if I played music quietly.

I set the volume to 2% and turned off the SRS system so it wouldn't be too loud. My friends couldn't hear it...so I think that girl must have had super-hearing or something because she came to our side and asked me, "Do you own a pair of earphones?! Can you, like, use them?"

"No, Your Highness. I don't own earphones. College has drained me of the little spending money I had, so I can' afford such luxuries. Please accept my most sincere apologies." *shoves earphones that were on table into the abyss that is my backpack, while simultaneously turning up the volume* Is what I wish I had said.

Reality: *shoves earphones into bag and takes out PSP. Proceeds to blast P3P*

After a couple of minutes of level grinding, the girl angrily packed up and stormed out. After which I reluctantly put mu PSP away and went back to my work.

Granted, I shouldn't have been playing music in a study room, but those RIGHT NEXT TO ME couldn't hear it! I certainly didn't go over and tell her to turn of her phone that kept vibrating loudly on the table (and we could hear THAT echo in the place)

Geez >.> The more time I spend here, the more I dislike it, or rather the spoiled princesses that come here.

This is why I'd rather study in my room. I don't even know why I agreed to go with them. I always study/do work alone, where I can do whatever I want without dealing with anyone or anything other than distractions.
