Hello there. Welcome to my world of Random Thoughts. In this world I’ll be posting stuff about anime and manga. Not to mention various other topics. I may post the occasional music video every now and than. And from time to time, I’ll just talk about my life in general. But first, here are a few things about me.

I was born an only child, for one thing. Originally I was planning to go into art professionally, but recently I’ve been more inclined towards writing. I still do the occasional wallpaper every now and then though, and I also still draw a little. But much of my energy these days goes into writing fan fiction. I’ve also recently become interested in archive and library work, which is something I’ve discovered I’m good at. Finally, like most people on the Internet, I like cats.

As you may know, Verizon has gotten rid of FUNimation channel.

So, as otakus, it is our job to bring it back!!!

We have to call, email, write letters, post on facebook, and do anything else possible to tell verizon to keep the channel

If we do that enough, we might be able to bring the channel back.

Could Someone Help Me?

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a site where I can find some good anime screenshots. I'm a little leery of using anything I might find on Google, and Photobucket doesn't always have very good stuff. Sometimes Zerochan has something, but we all know how risky it is to use anything from there, and Minitokyo only has scans. So if anyone knows of a good screenshot site I'd like to know. It'd be a great help.

What the *bleep* Is Going On?

All day today when I tried to log in to TheO, I kept getting a message saying that it was in "lockdown mode". It seems I'm not the only one who's had this problem. Others have commented about having this problem as well. And yet when I was finally able to log in like only half an hour ago, I found a whole bunch of stuff in my backroom. That kinda suggests to me that others have been able to long in all day. Of course I could be wrong about that. From what I've read in comments it's because of a virus here on TheO. But so far I haven't heard anything concrete about that, not even from our benevolent overlords.

I've also noticed some other problems, like when I hug or favorite a wallpaper, or e-card, or whatever, the little button for that function gets replaced by a little blue box with a question mark. Also, when I clicked to go to a wallpaper or other kind of work in my backroom a couple of times, it led me to a blank page. Seems to me like TheO has been having a little bit of a meltdown lately. One which I hope clears up soon. In the meantime, I would like to know if anyone else has been having problems similar to the ones I just mentioned.

Well, I'm going to post this and go check on a couple of other things. After that I'll log off for the night. Hopefully I'll be able to log back in again tomorrow. If I can't and there's another lockdown though, I guess I'll see you when I see you.

Out of Curiosity

I'm just wondering if anyone has been experiencing any glitches here on TheO just recently. This previous night (and I'm writing this post at 1:18 AM) I've had a bunch of odd wallpapers appear in my backroom, and a couple of times I've logged out, but then have come back to find that I'm still logged in. I think the new iPhone wallpaper thing might be causing a few bugs. Hopefully they'll get resolved soon.

In the meantime I am curious to know if anyone else has been experiencing similar glitches, or perhaps glitches that are more serious, like they can't submit regular wallpapers or something like that.

I got a PM saying that they TheO approved my iphone wallpaper. The funny thing was that the PM said that it should now be visible in my portfolio, yet when check it was not there. Of course that's no surprise since these wallpapers are supposed to be on a different sight. It's kinda funny that the PM would say that though. I guess TheO just hasn't gotten around to making a different form letter for this.
