I think that we all remember what happened in the world ten years ago today. I remember almost every detail of that day. Heck, I remember almost every detail of that entire week, and some details from the week before. It was during those two weeks that I saw some of the Sailor Moon anime for the very first time. Anyway, getting back to "that day," I remember walking into school and noticing that the TV was on in the secretary's office. It wasn't until after I got to my classroom until I learned what happened. Things went down hill from there that day. I learned that the TV station that was showing the Sailor Moon anime in my area was instead running coverage from CNN, so there was no chance of watching said anime that day. Then a couple of punk students decided to play a little prank on me and steal the book that I had brought with me. I didn't get that book back until the end of the week.
The only thing I can think about that day was how my whole day had been ruined. Was that selfish? Maybe it was, but then everyone I'm sure had their own day ruined in some way back then. A lot has happened since that day ten years ago, and I think some things have changed since then. I've probably changed in some ways since that time, ways that I can't quite identify or put into words. I just needed to vent that. Thanks for reading.
