Creativity Issues

Please disregard my last post. Though I deeply thank those who commented on it. The reason I asked about the browser thing was because FanFiction.Net is acting flaky for me today. And I had remembered that there was an update on the site about phasing out support for older versions of Internet Explorer, so I wondered if that had something to do with it. Doesn't seem to be the case though, at least not at the moment. I asked my dad about it earlier and he said that at least part of the problem was something on their end, and it wasn't a major problem.

Anyway, the reason why I'm doing this post is mainly because of my writing itself. The good news is that I recently finished a major fanfic trilogy that I had started back in May. The bad news though is that now I'm in between stories. I do have a few other ideas, but I don't really feel like working on a lot of them. Except for this one story idea of mine that I tried working on almost a year ago, but ended up putting on hold. I really want to work on this story, but there's kind of a problem. I think the story might be... cursed.

It seems like whenever I get some momentum on this story, something bad in my personal life happens to completely throw me off. And when I get back on track, I soon get stuck. This is the third time I've tried doing some work on this story, and it seems like bad things have already started happening. The thing with FanFiction.Net is one such example. Of course I realize it could just be in my mind, as a part of me has sort of expected something bad to happen. But this is the third time. It's probably just coincidence, and the old saying "Once bitten, twice shy" springs to mind. Even so, I'm not really sure what to do at the moment.

Any advice would be most welcome. Also, if anyone here with a FanFiction.Net account has also noticed some glitches on their end, please let me know. Sorry for bugging everyone with my little neurotic thoughts.
