Ladies and gentlemen, the great Phil Collins.
Okay, so I hope everybody had a great Christmas yesterday. Mine went pretty good. My dad seemed to like the DVDs I had gotten him. I still wish I could've gotten him something else to go with them like a shirt or some kind of tool, but oh well. As for me, I got almost everything I wanted. I got the major stuff at least, like Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040 on DVD. Not to mention three of the original Star Trek movies: The Wrath of Kahn, The Search for Spock, and The Voyage Home. I also got a nice book on Egyptian mythology, which I think will come in handy when doing research for future stories. The book's probably a lot more accurate than those old printouts I have, though I'll probably still hold onto most of them.
There are a few things I didn't get, like this one Yu-Gi-Oh! card tin. But I'll try to get my hands on that during my post Christmas shopping trip. My aunt and I are going to try and go on one of those this Saturday. We may also try seeing that movie about Nelson Mandela, depending on what theater is showing it. Anyway, I'm also thinking of trying to get all of Sword Art Online in DVD during this trip. But it kind of depends on price and if all of it is actually out yet. I may just wait and ask for it on my birthday, but I'm tired of waiting for it to come back on Toonami (though I did enjoy Summer Wars).
Aside from the gifts, the rest of the day went pretty well. Lunch with my aunt turned out to be pretty fun, mainly because my black sheep of an uncle wasn't there. Dinner with my mom's side of the family was pretty fun too. The only downside to yesterday and this morning is that FanFiction.Net has experienced a few meltdowns. But thanks to my more advanced computer, I'm pretty sure it was some problem on their end. Seems to be working fine at the moment, though I'm not sure if I'll try doing any writing today. My relatives are fun, but those visits really took a lot out of me. So again, I hope everyone had a good Christmas.
