Finished!

Ladies and gentlemen, the legendary Genesis.

I'm in an excellent mode tonight. It's taken me awhile, but I've finally finished my most recent Tokyo Mew Mew fanfic. Seems like I've had a lot of problems ever since I started that story. Heck, there were times when I even thought it was cursed. But it's finally done. Of course the story is only the first part of a series, so there's still much more work to do on it. I'll probably take a little time off from it though to work on other stuff, like wallpapers and some random one-shots.

And for those who care, here's how the shopping trip with my aunt went yesterday. I stopped by the bookstore and got my hands on the first two manga volumes of A Certain Scientific Railgun. I'm not sure how it compares to the anime, but I like it so far. So I'm going to have to try and get my hands on the next six volumes. Normally I don't try to get into manga that's been around for awhile because it's really hard to catch up, but I think the Railgun manga is still at an early enough point where I'm not too far behind.

Anyway, my next stop was to try and get the one Yu-Gi-Oh! card tin that I didn't get at Christmas. Sadly, the store I went to didn't have it. I wasn't really surprised by this, as Christmas wasn't all that long ago. So after that little failure, I went to a store that sells a lot of anime DVDs while my aunt went clothes shopping. I was hoping to get my hands on at least part of Sword Art Online on DVD. The store didn't have any of the series, unfortunately. But they did have a pretty good selection that made me stop and think for a bit.

There were four items that I was pretty interested in getting. They had Summer Wars, the complete series of Blue Gender, a little series called Burst Angel (which I did a fanfic for once), and Rideback. All these items were safely in my price range, but of course I could only get one. I unfortunately ruled out Rideback because it was used. I'm a little iffy about getting used CDs and DVDs due to a few bad experiences. In the end I decided to go with Summer Wars, mainly because it was cheaper and had a better story. Plus I used the extra money to get a pack of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards form a series that's now hard to find (of course all the cards in that pack ended up being pretty much useless to me).

So that's how my weekend went. I hope everyone else had a good weekend as well. Until next time.

End
