Hello again, everyone. Just thought I'd do a quick post to share how my day went. I ended up having a fairly relaxing day today. It was one of those days where you just lose track of how much time has passed. I spent a good chunk of the afternoon working on a new wallpaper, as I'm sure some already know. I also finally made some cover art for one of my fanfics. Of course I feel like I probably should've spent the day doing some other things. For instance I probably should've looked into the material for the next assignment of this online class I'm taking. I mean it's not due until Thursday, but I like getting started on these things as soon as possible. Then again, it is Labor Day.
I also got a little bit of bad news this evening. My grandpa ended up in the hospital today. From what I heard, he was having shortness of breath and heart palpitations or something like that, but the doctors couldn't find anything wrong with him. The good news though that his condition doesn't seem to be extremely severe. He's being let out of the hospital tomorrow, of course he also has to see a neurologist. I'm actually pretty concerned about this though because my grandpa had a tiny stroke over a month ago. I really hoped that I wouldn't have to be dealing with this kind of stuff anymore now that August had ended, what with that being the month of my cat's death and the death of my step uncle. I thought that a new month would be a clean slate. So I really hope that there's nothing seriously wrong with my grandpa.
Anyway, I didn't let the news about my grandpa ruin my evening. This really has been a good day, overall. I also have a new idea for a crossover fanfic that I may or may not do at some point. Sailor Moon meets Mothra. I even have a fairly rough idea about how it would start. It does seem like kind of an odd idea though. I mean, does anyone think a story like that would be weird? I'd really appreciate some input on this subject. Of course I get the feeling that if I did go through with this idea, it wouldn't be very popular. Seems to me like crossover fanfics aren't all that popular on FanFiction.Net. But then maybe that's just me.
That about does it for this post. I hope everyone else had a good Labor Day too.
