Ladies and gentlemen, the theme to Sailor Moon Crystal.
I felt the above video was appropriate since I finished the final volume of the Sailor Moon manga today. Well, except for the short story collections. Those are next on my reading list for this month. Anyway, just thought I'd let everyone know how this new computer of mine is working out so far. It's an adjustment, that much I can say for sure. As far as web surfing goes, this unit seems not all that different in performance than my last one. At least not as far as I can tell. This thing does have a better screen quality though, not to mention a heck of a sound system.
As the title of this post says though, there have been a few kinks with this new computer. For one thing the controls for the cursor are a little weird to me. The biggest kink though came this afternoon when I ended up having the thing instal software updates. I opened up my iTunes so I could listen to some music while I worked on my writing and my computer told me that there was a new version of iTunes out. I didn't see the harm in installing the new version, but then when the process began I saw that in addition to the iTunes update there were also updates for a few other things. So the downloading and instillation took about fifteen minutes, and the delay got me so behind schedule that I wasn't able to work on the next chapter of my current fanfic, at least not without going late into the night.
I did end up working on this quick little one-shot though. Nothing that could be considered great art, but it was nice to work on something simple for a change. Lately a lot of the stuff I write ends up being some elaborate project. Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course. Anyway, besides this thing with the software updates everything's been working fine so far. I've yet to try using the copy of Photoshop that's on this thing, but I probably will at some point in the near future. Might be sooner rather than later, since I found some interesting new scans this evening.
That's pretty much it for this post. I hope everyone else had a good day.
