Hello again everyone. Just thought I'd do a little post to let everybody know how I've been doing. Last week my dad went on a trip to Arizona to visit a friend. He left last Wednesday evening and returned this past Sunday night at around midnight, and during that time I had the whole house to myself. I wound up having a pretty fun and relaxing time during those four and a half days. Thursday afternoon I decided to let off some steam and drive into the city to browse for manga. I was looking for a yuri series I had read about called Whispered Words, but unfortunately the Barnes & Noble I went to didn't have it. After that I went to the nearby Target and bought a couple of Yu-Gi-Oh! booster packs, which is something I don't do as often as I used to mainly because there's no longer and good store in my town that sells them.
The following Friday night I ended up watching the first Amazing Spider-Man movie on T.V. A friend of mine on FanFiction.Net had actually recommended I watch that movie around the time my dad left to go on his trip, so when I saw that movie was going to be playing on T.V. it seemed like… well I don't want to say fate, but it was very well-timed. It actually turned out to be a pretty good movie, perhaps as good as the first two original Spider-Man movies (we don't need to speak of Spider-Man 3). That following Saturday, I pretty much chilled out and watched a few of the James Bond movies that were running on the SyFy Channel. Those films aren't great art, but some of them are kind of fun. Then that Saturday night I was able to watch the Toonami lineup on the upstairs hi-def T.V., which is something I very rarely get to do.
That's pretty much all there is to say about the weekend I had the house to myself. The only thing there really is to say about that Sunday apart from dad returning home was that I finished another chapter of the fanfic i'm currently working on and that there was practically nothing on T.V. Anyway, this week has gotten off to an okay start for me. Though I am behind where I wanted to be on my current fanfic. Part of that has to do with my current online class, which I'm still kind of adjusting to. Of course a good chunk of me being behind is my own fault, as I've sort of been procrastinating. Yesterday evening when I could've been working on the fanfic, I ended up writing a rough draft of a post for my Yu-Gi-Oh! Puzzle Room world here on TheO. Lately for some reason I've had more of a desire to work on posts for that world rather than my other projects. I'll probably get the previously mentioned post up later this Saturday, but for now one of my primary objectives is to try and get back on track with the fanfic.
