Hello all. Earlier today I came across an interesting little article on ANN about how Sailor Moon Crystal isn't necessarily a totally botched series.
I actually have a bit of a confession to make about Sailor Moon Crystal. I've only seen the first four or five episodes of it. Part of the reason is because it never seemed like I had the time to watch the rest of it. Plus all the snippets of negative reviews of the anime I'd see on ANN made me not want to watch the rest of the series. Still, with what little I've seen and read I do have a problem with how Crystal turned out. Animation issues aside, to me it seems like the anime didn't live up to its full potential. Here was a terrific opportunity to take the original story of the manga and expand on it by doing episodes that focused more on the other characters, for instance.
So I'm kind of curious to know what those of you here on TheO think. Read the above article and let me know in a comment what you think of Sailor Moon Crystal. Do you think it was an okay series that fell flat, or do you think it was a complete and total disaster?
