Hello everyone. I wanted to share a little discovery I made a few hours ago. As some of you reading may recall, the next Madoka Magica movie was supposed to premiere in Japan this month, but then they suddenly had to postpone due to an unspecified production reason. They were also supposed to announce a new date for the movie sometime this month. Well, the month is now a little more than half way over, and I haven't seen any announcements for a new premiere date for the movie on the Anime News Network.
So tonight I decided to be a little more proactive and did a Google search on the movie to see if I can find some new information on the movie from another source. I didn't find anything about a new premiere date for the movie, but I did find this.

Now I haven't investigated this very deeply, but it does seem legitimate. It makes me wonder if perhaps the movie will have an international premiere. I'm hesitant to get my hopes up though.
Meanwhile, there still isn't anything about a new premiere date for the movie. As soon as I do find out a new date though, I'll post about it. Of course given how we've been jerked around with this movie's premiere, I'm going to be very skeptical about whatever date they announce. As the old saying goes, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." Or as a former U.S. president once so eloquently put it...
How messed up is it that I'm nostalgic for the days of the George W. Bush administration?
Anyway, until we meet again in the next post.
