The sun shows its face every now and then
It hides behind the thick gray clouds
Forever playing a game of peek-a-boo
But that doesn't stop it from trying to shine on the world
Once the sun shines all day again
It will start to get warmer
The snow will start to melt
The grass will start to grow and turn green
The trees will grow little green leaves
That will eventually turn into big green leaves
But you have to have the patience to witness this slow yet amazing event, my little one
Because as the days grow longer and nights grow shorter
Life becomes something more alive
People will enjoy the warmth of the sun
They will come out and enjoy the day like they used to before winter came
But, like the seasons and like the weather,
People change one way or another
That's just how life works
