In this book. The whold thing is when Sam is 17 and Max is a little less than a year old. And the very last page or so it switches to 18 years in the future. And Max comes and see's his fater Sam (after he had gotten put up for adoption) And I am going to write this for 20 years from that point

Sam has gotten to know Max very well. Max made very good grades in school and was the star quarter back. Max got a scholorship into a very good College were he doesn't have to pay a single dime, as long as he is playing football for them. Max comes home everyweekend and visits him. Does Sam regret giving him up for adoption? Of course he does. But he knew that it was int he best interest for himself and Max. While Max was growing up, he had a very good childhood. His adoptive parents loved him very much and did anything they could to make him happy. Max has also gotten to know Sam's other kids (his half sisters) and Sam's wife. They get a long very well, and Max loves to teach Meg fighting moves. (Aparenty she wants to be a famous boxer when she grows up)But all in all everything turned out really well. For both Max and Sam.
