Spring Term
I'm sorry that I'm not around a lot, everyone. But it seems that everyone is really busy...so I guess it's mutual.
Spring term has gotten into full swing and even though it's really draining, I enjoy it for the most part. Just wait, I'll hate it later on....
So I know that I kept babbling on about how I was going to get new art on here and blah blah blah but there have been difficulties. 1) My friend is incredibly lazy and it took FOREVER and a ridiculous amount of pestering to get him to send them to me. 2) There's something weird with the file so every time I try to upload, it says "please select a file." >.< So frustrating. Maybe I will try another friend's scanner and hope that it works better.
I've slowly come to realize that I draw whatever I'm feeling. And since my state is perpetually exhausted, I always draw sleeping people or people who also look tired. It's rather sad, really. At least I think so. I should branch out.
In other forward-thinking things....I have two musings planned for sometime in the future so if you pay attention to those, please keep watch. It's all just a matter of time.....

Paprika
Has anyone seen the movie Paprika? It's by Satoshi Kon and I got it for Christmas this year. We also watched it in the anime club at school earlier in the year. It's an excellent movie.
Satoshi Kon makes some pretty twisted stuff but that's what makes them awesome. The imagery is so much fun to watch and there's a nice bit of humor in there to lighten it (because usually his movies are a little heavy). If you have the opportunity, please check it out.
Otherwise, I've been really busy. They say that January is relaxing. Ha. And I have a hard time staying awake in class (but what else is new, right?) Thankfully, it's almost over. I can't wait to start spring term.

It's Break Time!
I know I keep saying I'm going to put more art up and I never do. I should stop lying to you guys. Sorry. Eventually I will get around to it....probably not until January. I'm really sorry!
I keep losing stuff in my house. It's really weird. So far I've lost three pieces of art. Am I going crazy? That's what I keep thinking. I swear I put it right there....It's one of those things, you know?
The anime club at my school, we just finished watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. It's one of my personal favorites but it also got my other non-otaku friends totally hooked. Actually, one of them bought me the first volume of the manga for Christmas and asked to borrow it after I was done. It really amuses me how into it she is.
Anyway, winter break has officially started. I really look forward to the time off, even though I've got a final that's due tomorrow that I should really start on....I hope you all enjoy your own breaks!
Happy Exhaustion
I'm a little surprised that I'm still awake at this point. I guess it's because I haven't really sat down until about now...
Last night some friends and I went to Dir en Grey in concert. I love going to see them. They're very interesting to watch live and I like their music anyways. Definitely the crowd-pleasing type and man, do they deliver. It was totally worth extra money and an hour and a half of standing in (literally) freezing temperatures.
I've got a paper to write right now and I shouldn't be here typing this. Look for more art from me next week. Okay, stopping now.
A Long Time
Hello, everyone. It's been a long time, has it not? I'm sorry I haven't been around a lot lately. It's been extremely busy and I'm afraid it's only going to get worse from here. I've got three papers to write this week so....
But I'll be putting up more art again here in a little bit. Maybe next week when things settle down a little. All of it will be old stuff (I'm slowly working though all of the stuff that I compiled while being absent of a scanner).
And gamer, if you read this, I've got a piece I'm working on for our art trade. It's been really hard to find the time but no worries--slowly but surely, right?
