i sympathize completely. i've noticed before that people tend to be/seem a lot jerkier in writing than in person. don't let them get to you, though. in regards to the question of whether one should respond to rudeness with kindness or anger i always say the first. we have to at least try to act like decent human beings to one another and you can't stoop down to the bastards' level. so i say kudos for refusing to stoop ^^
