Summer is here again and I find myself saying, "What--already?!" It really snuck up on me. I suppose the lack of unbearably hot weather has something to do with it but I can do without the heat.
School has been out for a grand total of one week. I'm enjoying myself immensly being at home. My brother is still in school so I have the house to myself for most of the day. I like the solitude. Lots of videogame playing and lately, drawing. I haven't drawn for the merit of it for a long time so picking up the pencil to draw anime feels really strange. I feel like I need to relearn everything. Regardless, I'm working through it.
My grandma's dog is living with us (again) for three weeks. The house has been segregated into the upstairs, the Domain of the Cats, and the downstairs, Lair of the Dog. The dog is pretty mello but sometimes she comes over and sits in my lap while I'm playing videogames. She's a golden retriever, so she's no light-weight. -_-' Oh well. She's not too bad but I don't like dogs.
Speaking of my grandma, she's in the hospital. My mom is, needless to say, a little frantic. I think we all are. It just rings too much of the time when my grandpa died (this grandma's husband). When something big happens in my family, the MO is a need-to-know basis only, so I don't know anything. All I know is that she had surgery this morning. They're talking of letting her come home soon, so hopefully....
