Wrapping up August & a bit on The Boy and the Crane

Here is the deal: I have 3 studio art classes that take up Mon-Thrusday with sometime needed for outside work on projects (Jewerly (metalsmithing) and 3D sculpture). All i've got to work with is the house laptop. Digital art is being reduced to me touching on current pieces and doodles (which isn't anything new, actually) and I've recently forced myself back into practice writing with roleplaying :P, we'll see how that goes.

I have four pages of The Boy and The Crane which I intend to post together when they're finished and that will not be anytime soon with my amount of concentration on individual art projects. Ugh!
I want to so badly be ahead of where I am! I've got canon-character cameos and jokesssssss and up to page 84 scribbled out on thumbnails! Waaaah! I need to make myself focus on those pages if I want to get to the good stuff! The LAST thing I want to do is post the script/story to fill in what I can't finish! BUT I WILL FINISH THIS 1...2.3- um... 30-ish (maybe more, not including the bonus content) chapter story!
I'd like to try create story-oriented character art. The trick is to avoid what I feel would be spoiler and think about what sort of details I wouldn't mind making known outside of the story (i.e important side/plot characters & Kiippon's family; except his mother, the status/identity of her will be secret for now...).

Meh...
have a Kiippon at the end of a comic I've been meaning to share; about his hair
