The street flashed under my feet as I ran from the wolf like animals that were chasing me. I ran to the statue of Hachiko.
Hopefully others would have come here. I ran franticly hardly noticing as I passed through people.
The wolves were getting closer. Their tattoo like front legs pounding loudly as they ran.
Suddenly I ran into something soled. It wasn't a building, it was to soft. I looked up at a girl with light blue hair.
She glared at me. I backed slightly away. "S-sorry," I stammered as I struggled to get up.
She seemed to spot the wolves because her expression changed.

“Kid make a pact with me.” the boy with metallic gray hair Nearly shouted. He seemed to be panicking.
"A pact?" I asked. Then I heard the wolves behind me. "Right," I said grabbing his hand.
As soon as we touched I felt the wolves breath behind us.

I stared around in disinterest, watching as people flitted through me as if I didn't exist. Which I didn't I'm guessing. I knew I was dead, I remember that idiot pushing me. I search through my pockets to find my cellphone and a sleek black pin. I studied it carefully and threw it in the air before catching it again.
The effect was immediate. My ears were instantly filled with thoughts that weren't mine. I clutched my ears and winced slightly. I dropped the coin and when it flipped again the thoughts disappeared. I breathed heavily before opening my ringing phone. The message said: "Go to 104, you have 60 minutes. Fail, and face erasure. -The Reapers" I knew I had to have a partner. But didn't feel trusting after everything that happened. I dig through my backpack which didn't have much in it and pulled out my goggles and a surgical mask that I wore for my allergies. I quickly pulled them on and walked off.
It was only then I noticed the timer on my hand, I stared at it ticking with disinterest before remembering they said I had to find a partner. I remember that weird dog statue thing that I usually pass by and decide I'm going to go there. I was determined to win this thing. But I don't need to get attached to who I was paired with. I can do this alone.

I blinked a few times, as I stretched slightly I realized I was face down on asphalt, and not my own bed. I panic slightly before memories started to flood back into me. That river...The currents had been too strong and I had been swept away. I remember seeing someone shrouded in shadows explaining to me that I was going to get something taken away from me...But what was it?
I quickly shove my hand into my pocket and pull out a smooth black pin with a skull on it. A Player's Pin. I hear a phone ring and I panic, until I realize it's in my pocket. I open the phone and find a message stating "Make it to 104, you have 60 minutes. Fail and face erasure.
From the reapers."
I feel a sharp jabbing pain on my hand and I stare down in shock as I see a timer etched into my hand counting down from sixty minutes. Then I start hearing white noise, and I look up to see strange graffiti like frogs coming after me. I remembered the shadowed person mentioned something...Noise was it? I knew I couldn't battle alone. I needed a partner.
I remember...someone...Telling me about a place where you could easily meet someone...Hachiko! But...who told me? Why do I feel like I'm forgetting something important?
I shake my head and run off towards the statue, the feeling of forget still in my mind.

I woke to the sound of peoples voices all around me. "Okay that's the last time I go to bed with the window open," I muttered to my self as pushed myself into a sitting position. Slowly I came to the realization that I was sitting on a street.
In a uncertain state I blinked open my eyes. As I stared around the scramble crossing it came back to me. The shooting, I was dead and in some game.
As I sat up, it was actually quite creepy. There were people all around me. The worst was them walking through me. It sent chills up my spine.
My phone went off suddenly. I flipped it open to see the strangest text I had ever gotten. "Make it to 104, you have 60 minutes. Fail and face erasure.
From the reapers."
So that was what they wanted me to do, it seemed easy. Calmly I walked across the street. As I was about to step into the 104 area I ran into a wall, but I didn't see a wall.
From behind me I could Hear something that sounded like the white noise on the TV. Whipping around I saw what looked like white wolves. They were closing in on me. I tried to fight, but I couldn't.
I needed a partner to fight. I decided to go to Hachiko, people were always there.
