I stare up at the dog statue wondering exactly how people could believe it's good luck. "Are...people stupid?" I blink at the sound of my voice, it's slightly raspier than usual. I realize that I haven't really talked in awhile. I realize that I probably need to find a partner and I scan the area.
A few minutes in looking a feel a body slam into mine. I turn and glare an orange-headed boy who was panting heavily as if he'd been running. I quickly look at weird graffiti like wolves that seem to have been chasing him. "Hmm...I guess since you didn't run through me then you're a player? Very well then, we gotta fight these...things. Make a pact with me then!" I don't bother waiting for an answer and I grabbed his hand, and with a flash of blue light the wolves seem to back off.

"Haaaaaaaah...I can't find anyone! And my brain still hurts." I stare around the statue hoping to find someone. I quickly find a boy with shaggy black hair with patches of red. 'Well...that guy is rather interesting.' I sprint over to him and tackle him. "MAKE A PACT WITH ME RANDOM GUY!" I shout looking at him. Maybe it was a bit of an overkill but now was not the time to worry about that. He looked at me with a blank expression...Although there was something there. Disappointment?
"Okay." Was all he said. Well, he's talkative. He continues to staring at me.
"Jeez! Do you know me or something? Or are you a creeper?!" I shout, getting slightly irritated.
"No, it's fine." I sighed. He's going to take awhile to get used to.
