Hi people! I know I no longer update as often as I did, but I just want to let you know that I still silently stalk some of your worlds and creations :3 lol.
Oh right. I am currently in Kyoto! :) I'm currently studying Japanese -- which is like a dream of a lifetime. I'm going to return to Indonesia after a year, though. Japan is awesome and all that, but my home is still Indonesia.
So I used to think of Kyoto as a small town close to the nature...not all of that is true. Kyoto apparently classifies as a big city. What is more interesting is that it may be a big city, but it is also super close to mountains. In the middle of the city, there is also a clear and beautiful river with ducks.. Kinda dreamy, isn't it?
And of course, the best thing is: otaku stuffs are literally everywhere. I can probably spend forever wandering in those stores. Recently I bought a Puella Magi Madoka Magica's rice crackers. A bit overpriced, but oh well who can resist the cuteness xD

Since most Indonesians are Moslems, we're currently having a holiday to celebrate Eid Mubarak. Mine is a week, but I heard lots of people have longer holiday D: Oh dear, I feel like I'm in misery ;~;
To cheer myself up (and to be productive in this holiday), I finally decided to buy Wacom Bamboo tablet *YAY*! :)) It's A LOT better compared to my old Genius tablet. I was so excited to give it a shot, but then...
I DIDN'T KNOW THAT TAKING CARE OF A DOG CAN TAKE THAT MUCH OF MY TIME.
My bf went to Malaysia to spend his holiday, so I offered to take care of his dog. His dog, named Kelsey, a 6-month-old dog who is half-Terrier and half-something-else (her mother is a Terrier, but the previous owner isn't very sure about the father :P). She's an uber cute dog, but she's SUPER active. I end up being there for her for the whole days D:
Ah I feel good after ranting writing XD for the meantime, Kelsey is locked in the living room just so she won't end up littering our house.
Anyway, how's everyone's life? :))
I'm in the 5th semester of my uni now, which makes the thesis class available a year after this one. This may not sound familiar to people living outside of my country C: Basically, to graduate and get a bachelor degree you'll need to complete a thesis.
Sooo.. My major is English Lit.
I'm currently taking a preparation class to determine my thesis' topic and title, which is 100% difficult. Not only does I choose to analyze a video game (something which has never been done before), but also the teacher is very irritating. She doesn't like the idea of analyzing a video game in the very first place. She said, "How can a video game be analyzed?"
Well tomorrow we're going to have an individual conference regarding this, and I'm sooo gonna prove her wrong :D I owe my whole knowledge of English to video games. This is something I'll definitely fight for.
My thesis will cover the Xenosaga trilogy, with the main focus on the 3rd episode (Also Sprach Zarathustra). I have many options to choose from, but I decided to analyze Shion's relationship with KOS-MOS based on psychological approach.
Speaking of which, does anyone know a member @ TheO who is familiar with psychology? :3 and if possible, someone who loves video games too :D I'd like to consult a bit with him/her.
