COOKIES

“What is this?” Sesshomaru asked himself, picking up the round object. It smelt strange. “InuYasha’s girlfriend must have dropped it.” He sniffed it again. Defiantly a food. “It’s…..strange.” He turned to Rin. “Rin!” he called. “Come over here.”
“Yes, Sesshy-sama?” Rin said, running over, barefoot. “What is it, Sesshy-sama?”
Sesshomaru smiled. “Here. Take a bite of this.”
Rin looked up at Sesshomaru questionably, then took a nibble of the object. Her eyes brightened up. “Yum!” she said, taking another bite. “It’s yummy, Sessy-sama!” she said cheerfully.
Sesshomaru took the object back and took a bite of it. He could feel his eyes light up. He took another bite….and another…..Until the entire thing was gone.
“Sesshy-sama! You ate it!” Rin whined. “I want some more, Sesshy-samaaaaaa!!”
Sesshomaru licked his fingers. It was…..Delicious. He sniffed. There weren’t any more. “I’ll get us more of these….” He mumbled. “That mutt’s girlfriend probably has these.” He picked up Rin. “Come, Rin! We shall get more of these!”
“Yay! I get to ride on Sesshy-sama!” Rin said cheerfully, hugging her master.
Sesshomaru smiled, then started to run, searching for that woman. “She isn’t far….” He muttered, going even faster.
Soon, Sesshomaru caught sight of the woman. “YOU!!” he roared.
Suddenly, InuYasha was in front of him. “Well, bro, see you’re back for another beating—!”
Sesshomaru shoved InuYasha away and ran to the woman. “Give me it.” He said, holding out his hand.
“Yes! Give it to us!” Rin chimed.
“W-What?” Kagome looked confused. “Give you what?”
“That delicious object. It was round and sweet.”
“You mean…..M-My cookie?”
“Yes. Your cookie.” Sesshomaru liked the sound of the word. He started to say it again. “Cookie. Cookie……Cookie.”
“Cookie?” Rin said timidly, holding out her hand.
Kagome looked, startled, at the two. “S….Sure.” she said, digging into her bag. She handed a package to Sesshomaru. “Here.”
Sesshomaru looked at the package as if he had been handed God. “Cookies….” He said, jumping away, with Rin smiling and waving goodbye.
Kagome waved back. “……Heh?”
InuYasha stood up. “What the hell was that about?”
“I…….Have no idea.”
