This is a poem that I wrote three or four years ago, for a poetry assignment in school. I got an "F" for using "bad words" (they were refering to the word blood). That school was retarded. So here it is...
Pirates
The booming of large cannons,
And the cracking of small guns,
May strike fear into many who roam the sea.
The black flag flies on the salty air.
Jolly Roger it's called,
And by swords it's saluted.
But not any sword, Oh no!
The weapons of thieves and murderers,
And their monstrous pets, the parrots.
I'm sure you know of whom I talk?
Aye, 'Tis the pirates!
Their ships seem to fly,
On clouds of foam,
The peaceful days when battle is not brewing.
But that lasts not long
And the sea is filled, once again, with blood.
The rebellioius knights kill mercilessly,
Both friend and foe.
Uncaring and unloving,
They are but scandalous pirates.
