Kita walked with her arm linked with Gin's as they walked to what seemed to be the east side of Las Noches, right for the third tower. She would occasionally look up at Gin wondering what he had on his mind. What were they going to talk about that she had not already heard from Aizen or Ulquiorra? Given it seemed at times Gin and she connected better than the other two, but there was still a huge gap in the way they thought.
Looking to Gin once more, she asked, “Why the extra steps of taking me way out here? Don't want the blood spill in your room?” She gave him a cunning grin.
Gin chuckled. "Now you're just begging for pain with that question, Kita. Why would I go through all the trouble of getting you away from Aizen's temper if I was going to be beating you up myself?" he retorted, voice light as he tilted his head her way. "Seems to me if my plan were to hurt you, I should have just joined in the fun brewing back there in Aizen's eyes, don't ya think?"
She giggled softly, looking down at the floor. “I was only kidding. I have seen your anger and I know if I had pushed you that far I would not be here right now.” She then peered back up at him. “Though I am still wondering why you suggested we talk elsewhere.”
Gin's grin widened at her laughter and glanced to the side where a Numeros had scurried away at their entrance. "You are more likely to be comfortable away from Aizen's shadow, aren't you?" he prompted a moment later. "Is that reason enough for your curious head?"
Kita growled under her breath, looking forward again. “Why can’t he just back off! I am here! Isn’t that good enough for him? Why do I always have to be his outlet for anger?” She tilted her head slightly. “Given. I have not been the best at times," she admitted, looking to Gin again. “However, his anger has been unwarranted a few times toward me.”
"Maybe he can unreasonable at times, but he is the lord of ths realm," Gin stated, unphased by her anger. "Even your master Ulquiorra obeys him." The silver haired reaper pushed open a door into another corridor. "And if you could find some way to not fight him, you wouldn't have missed this sight." He let Kita's hand go and opened a balcony door, on the side, flooding the dim chamber with light. "Aizen's sun for Las Noches," he announced, holding his hand out for her.
Taking his hand Kita walked out into the sunlight. It was rather pleasant and strangely warm, like she was actually standing in the original sunlight of the human realm.
“He is a powerful man," she shook her head, “and too damn smart for his own good. Why can’t he channel that power for good?” she asked, looking towards Gin once more. “He has to know he will never make this goal of his.”
"Man wasn't supposed to be able to walk on the moon either, but they did it, foolish creatures that they are." Gin stated in turn, dodging her question. He folded his arms over the railing and leaned out, sleeves drifting in the barely discernible breeze. "Let me ask you this, Kita. What does thinking on that do for you? Besides raising your master and Lord Aizen's wrath?" Gin's expression was mostly obscured by the sun flaring and reflecting off his silver bangs as he put the question to his companion.
Kita sighed as she turned, leaning her backside against the railing. “It does nothing for anyone,” she muttered, looking to Gin. “I just don’t get it. What do I have to do?”
"That's a good question," Gin murmured beside her and faced her, eyes hidden in his silver bangs. "And would you do what needed to be done, I wonder."
Kita narrowed her eyes slightly, watching him. “I guess it would depend on what you’re asking for. I do have my limits and pride.”
"I think you will find, Kita, that what I am asking won't be that much." At least it won't after she starts to believe it herself, he added to himself, grin growing just slightly.
She turned, facing him, and looked up at him. “And what might that be. Lord Gin?”
