Within just a few hours of attending the school, Maria and Tereza were immediately turned into the new rulers. Not doing anything, they were still pampered. Maria denied all offers, but Tereza happily and quickly accepted all presents that involved sweets. Or any kind of food, for that matter.
Lunch time came around finally and Maria and Tereza were sitting at their table surrounded by their new followers. "Have you found any leads at all yet?" The silverette asked, glancing over at her candy addicted friend.
Tereza hummed for a moment while she popped another chocolate ball into her mouth. "Well, I found out that the chocolate here could be a lot better tasting. But it's still sweet and delicious~!"
Maria sighed and shook her head. "That's not vhat I'm talking about. I meant about the ghost sightings."
"Oh! Nope. Not yet. But do you want a chocolate rose? I was told to give it to you."
Maria looked over again and raised a brow. "I thought I told the dummkopfs of this school that I don't vant to be pampered und showered vith gifts und candy."
"Ooooh~? Won't even accept any'zing from moi? 'Ow cruel, mon cher."
Sliding her gaze in the direction of the voice, once again Maria found Francis, holding his heart in a dramatic way as he walked over to join. A sigh and a roll of her eyes. "Und definitely not from you, imbecile."
Francis couldn't help but chuckle. "You wound me so."
"If I 'vound' you so bad, vhy do you keep coming back?"
"I 'ave my reasons~"
Tereza cleared her throat loudly. "YOU again? If I knew the chocolate rose was from you I would have eaten it myself and not have told her."
The Frenchman pouted. "Now would you really 'ave done that, mon petit?" He was only responsed with a stubborn nod and a hidden smirk from Maria.
"No matter... Do you have anything useful for us so you have more of a reasoning to be here?" Maria said, impatiently.
He hummed and sat down on the seat of the table, sliding closer to Maria. "I might~ If you are willing to discuss a second date, already~"
She deadpanned. "Nein. Now leave if you are just going to be a nuisance."
Francis clutched his heart dramatically yet again and slide to the floor onto his knees. "Cruel fate, mon Maria 'as yet to love moi back!"
Just at that moment, Francis was unluckily met with the fate of being run over by a red carpet and blown away into a wall. Tereza laughed while Maria just stared, unphased completely.
"Well, well, well. Looks like we have a set of new-comers here to steal the spotlight from us," A British accent echoed from outside of the cafeteria.
"Aiya! It's against the rules for our crowd to be taken from us, aru," A Chinese accent followed right behind the British.
The double doors slammed open, revealing the silhouttes of two males making their way down their red carpet.
Berlin raised a brow while the two got closer. Tereza stared for a moment before being distracted by a container of pudding sitting in front of her. The two approaching looked alike. But only in uniform. The British looking one was a blonde, with unusually thick eyebrows and a proper air to his very being. The other was shorter, long brunette hair in a ponytail resting over his shoulder, with a panda hanging off the free side. Everyone around them stopped and bowed deeply in their presence.
"What's this? A busty German and a sweet addicted child?" The blonde englishman stated.
"Aiya, they make the school disgraced just by being here, aru," The Chinese man also made his input.
Maria lowered her brow in unamusement. "Tell me. Are you dummkopfs just going to stand there und insult us or vill 've get the honor of knowing who the hell you are? Either vay, 've doing care," She closed her eyes and sighed, waving her eyes around to stress the fact she wants the new attendees to leave their sight. "Either give us somet'hing useful on vhat 've need or go off on your own vay."
"You tell them, Maria!" Tereza backed up, shoving another spoonful of pudding into her mouth.
The Englishman and the Chinese man looked at each other and frowned.
The blonde huffed and looked back at the girls, crossing his arms over his chest. "Well if you are so eager to learn about who we are. I am Arthur Kirkland."
"And I am Wang Yao. And we are the leaders of this school, aru." The brunette said.
"Goo't for you two on that title, now leave, bitte." Maria yawned and turned her attention back to Tereza, who was commenting on more sweets that were sitting in front of her.
"Hey, don't just ignore us, we're trying to gloat, here!" Arthur fumed. "And you, child, stop eating and get out of this school, you're too young anyways!"
Swallowing the chocolate ball she popped into her mouth, Tereza turned around to face Arthur. "I am not a child! If anything, I am older than you, give or take, and I will not be leaving as long as Maria stays here to fight!"
"Tereza... We're not exactly trying to start a fight here, you know."
"A fight is what you want? Well, we'll certainly give you that." Yao smirked.
"Nein, that isn't vhat 've-!" Maria started.
Arthur pointed at the girls and grinned. "After school in the courtyard. We'll give you the fight of your life. And we'll be taking back our crowd while we're at it."
Arthur and Yao laughed as they walked off and away. A large crowd followed them out, leaving the two girls alone in the cafeteria.
"Mon dieu... 'Zose are two 'zat you do not want to anger." Francis said, rejoining.
Tereza, having finished all her sweets, blinked in confusion. "Maria? Weren't we supposed to be on ghost lookout after school?"
Maria stayed silent for a few moments before responding. "Ja... Though. I think 've might have already found vhat 've're looking for."
"Quoi?" Francis looked at Maria. "You're not saying 'zat /'zey/ 'ave some'zing to do wi'z 'ze ghost sightings, are you, mon cher?"
She hummed before standing and stepping a few steps away from the table. "Vhat? Are you saying that I'm vrong? Because that'a exactly vhat I'm saying," Maria looked back with a small smirk broken out on her face. "Get prepared, both of you. Ve're in for an interesting var to start."
Yeah, couldn't think of anything better for the title. But at least it gets the main point across 8D
Maria - Berlin
Tereza - Czechoslovakia (Property of Suki)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In a city where havoc is quick to strike, it's not rare to find strange beings. Monsters and other life threatening creatures exist to take over, but somehow they only reside in that one city.
World City holds many citizens. The only reason they are all still alive and walking is due to the protection of a certain duo. Of course, they may not be the first you would call on for help.
Ludwig stared in utter disbelief at the still sleeping tall silverette and the light blonde, almost white, haired child, who was inhaling breakfast like she hadn't eaten in days. The blonde man knew all too well though that she was nowhere near to being a child and she definitely wasn't starved considering all the food she eats in a day. As for the other, serious as could be and could care less for others depending on their situation and who they are. He wondered why she was sleeping in so late today of all days for she was always up before either him or her partner.
"Vake up already und stop gorging yourself, dummkopfs!" Ludwig's voice boomed through the room, making the small girl stop mid-bite into a mini-pie, fork stuck in her mouth with a surprised look on her face.
"Goo't. Now that I have Tereza'a attention... MARIA."
"I'm up, I'm up, imbecile," Maria groaned, sitting up off the couch and running a hand through her hair to put it back into place.
Tereza was practically bouncing in her seat while she finished off her breakfast. "Good morning, Maria~! you slept well, da? You slept long and late enough. There's breakfast waiting for you in the kitchen, I made sure that I didn't eat it this time."
"Danke," Maria muttered, flopping back onto the couch and burying her face in the pillow.
Ludwig frowned. "Don't you dare think about falling back asleep und don't even plan on going to get more food. You both have a mission request today."
Maria mumbled something uncomprehensable into the pillow, a few German profanities barely heard, and rolled over onto her side. "Vhat is it that 've have today, imbecile?"
"You are 'vanted to infiltrate the school. Something odd has been happening there," Ludwig stated. He was about to open his mouth to say something again but stopped and made a face seeing that Maria fell asleep again and Tereza was rambling on about how she's never been to a school and how the markers smelled like candy. He simply shook his head, knowing there was nothing else to be said. "You'll leave in an hour. Don't disappoint this time, angels."
'Angels'?
In an hours time, the two girls were on their way to school in a shiny car with Maria as the driver. Tereza was sitting in the passenger seat, tugging at her skirt. "Why did I have to wear a skirt? They feel awkward."
Maria was was wearing black dress pants and a regular white button-up. "Because. You have the figure und size for it. Plus, I don't vear any kind of skirt. I don't like how they look on me. They look fine on you," thinking for a moment, silence filled the car again briefly. "Just don't mess this up. Ludwig is bad enough vhen he's giving us orders."
"But he's your older brother, Maria! You shouldn't be disrespectful to him like that," Tereza responded. She looked around outside again and started jumping in her seat. "Oh, look! Is that the school? It's really big!"
Cruising straight into a parking space immediately, the two stepped out of the car and looked around. Tereza was intrigued and Maria looked quite bored. "Alright, Let's get this done und over vith," the silverette said.
Upon entering the building all eyes were on the pair. Most males had gazes fixated on Maria for various reasons, mostly for her figure and large chest size, and others that were more curious watched Tereza with raised brows, wondering if she were really old enough for high school.
"Ah~! Bonjour, mademoiselles~" a heavy French accent escaped the gathering crowd. "Welcome to our school~" a French man followed the accent, squirming his way out to greet the pair. The blue-eyed blonde with light stubble bowed deeply to the girls. They raised their brows. Quite plain looking other than his personality. The crowd went away when he made his appearance, apparently due to his flirting ways, he gained a few good opposers to his style.
He straightened himself up with a light smile that quickly disappeared. Blinking in confusion for a moment, a bright smile broke out. "You are 'ZE Maria, non? Ahhhh, bonjour, mon cher, I 'ave dreamed of this day of finally meeting vous," the blonde carefully took her hand in his, bowing down again and lightly brushing his lips on the back of her hand. "Francis Bonnefoy at votre service, cheri~" he looked up at her with a smile.
"Hey you! Don't touch Maria, can't you see she obviously didn't like it? And I'm here, too, mister!" Tereza fumed and pouted.
Maria, on the other hand, was busy processing the moment while she stared at the man in front of her. A light blush covered her face as she quickly retreated her hand away from him. "Right then. Danke for the velcome, Francis. Er... How do you know of us?"
Francis chuckled and stood straight again. "Why, of course I would know of vous. I am in love wi'z you, you should know~"
Maria stared again before looking at Tereza. "So. Do you remember vhat 've vere supposed to do here again?"
Francis dramatically clutched his heart and dropped to the ground in a comedic fashion with a lone spotlight shining down on him while the girls continued off on their own.
Tereza shook her head. "I think Ludwig said something about looking out for odd things going on here."
"Ah! You mean 'ze ghost sightings?" Francis said, immediately picking himself back up off the ground and brushing himself off.
Maria glanced over with a raised brow. "You know of vhat has been happening here?"
"Well, of course, I do attend this school," Francis replied. "But oui, I know just rumors of what 'as been 'appening."
Maria and Tereza stayed silent for a moment, waiting for Francis to tell what he knows. "...vell... Aren't you going to tell us?" the silverette asked.
"Oh oui~! Though... Not wi'zout payment~"
Maria rolled her eyes. "Fine, vhat is it that you vant for the information?"
"oooh... No'zing in particular. Per'aps, just a small little date wi'z ma belle~?" The blonde smiled innocently with full sincerity in his voice.
Tereza was about to say something until Maria covered her mouth to stop her, knowing she'd go all out. "Ve'll talk about the date. Now tell us vhat you know."
"Oui, oui, I'll spill," Francis said. "But not 'ere. It is too dangerous 'ere." he turned on his heel and started to walk off down the hall.
Maria released Tereza who looked up at her former holder. "Hey, Maria, should we really trust him? He's kinda creepy. And I don't like how he looks at you."
The silverette simply waved her hand in dismissal. "Vell there's no one else und he seems pretty sure that he knows vhat he's talking about. Now come on before we lose our source of information."
And with that, the two followed down the path after Francis.
After closing the door behind him, Francis turned back to the girls. The room they were in was empty enough and looked like it used to be an old practice room for music students. They didn't have to worry for intruders, though, since the music wing relocated years before.
"Alright, tell us vhat you know," Maria said impatiently. She glanced over at Tereza who was staring out the window watching other students play out in the courtyard.
"Like I said, there 'ave been ghost sighting around the school," Francis started with a sigh. "I 'ave tried to look into it myself but... Well, it is quite difficult. 'Zey will come et terrorize 'ze school for awhile zen leave almost immediately wi'z no explanation or trace."
"Do you know around vhen that the ghosts appear?"
"Zat is 'ze zing. It changes every day. 'zough lately 'zey have been coming during 'ze after school times."
"That is all 've need to know. Ve'll stay today und keep an eye out for them," Maria looked back over at Tereza. "Tereza. Get ready for a long day," she looked back at Francis and pointed at him. "und you. You vill help us, since 've're starting to get suspicious of you."
Francis laughed and smiled. "You are too funny, mon cher. There is no need to suspect me to be be'ind 'zis. Zough since you 'ave already said it so, I will be 'appy to accompany you today~"
Maria stared and huffed, looking away. "Goo't. Ve'll meet back here after classes end, then."

Enjoy, lovlies~ ))
The day is like any other. The skies are blue as far as the eye can see and white puffs of clouds are scattered around. Everyone is out doing their own things and enjoying the serenity of the day. A certain British man is also passing the peaceful hours with a tea party of one.
"Would you like some more tea, Mr. Flopsy~?" Oliver beamed as he poured more tea into his own cup, looking at a stuffed floppy bunny who he called 'Mr. Flopsy.' The table was decorated as if it were a real tea party being thrown. But the only ones inhabiting the seats were five destroyed and horribly ripped stuffed animals and a pale-pink haired british man with thick eyebrows, light blue eyes with sparkles of pink, and a wide grin that could be taken as either innocent or deadly.
Each stuffed animal looked the same in how they were destroyed, but all were completely different. Mr. Flospy was a white floppy bunny with red stains splattered everywhere. Both legs of it were ripped in half, leaving the stuffing to overflow out of the openings. An 'X' was formed over the left side of the rabbit's chest and was sewed back up again, leaving the perfectly neat stitching behind. One of it's ears also seemed to have been ripped off at once but sewed back on with more perfection.
The others had similar markings. Some were missing arms, ears, eyes, and legs. The only thing in common about them is the 'X' above where each of their hearts would be if they were human.
Oliver continued his conversation with his stuffed animals long into the day. With his tea party being held in the middle of the park, he was given odd looks from anyone and everyone who passed by. Luckily for him, his secret reputation had been heard enough to scare everyone away from him.
"Oh if only my Cupcake were here to enjoy this lovely tea with me," Oliver said, placing an elbow on the table and resting his chin in the palm of his hand. "I wonder how well he'd do if I gave him the same treatment as I gave you, Mr. Flopsy~"
The bunny obviously stayed absulotely still as Oliver laughed to himself. He quieted down again and stared out dreamily to the sparkling lake, thoughts of dreadful things entering his mind as a smirk played against his lips.
A silver haired frenchman walked passed his line of sight, cigarette in hand. There was something off about him, though. The suit he wore was a dark red, a chain dangling out of the chest pocket, and a tie around his neck with the illustration of a clock upon it. Sliding his eyes up further, Oliver blinked at the pure white rabbit ears popping out of his head. Another notice glided his gaze to the rabbit tail the man sported.
A wide grin was painted on the british man's face once again. "Émile, you player, leading me on in such an attire~?"
Émile pulled a clock out of his pocket and simply stared at it. Upon returning it, he pulled the cigarette out of his mouth and let out a long string of smoke. "Merde... Late again, it seems." Replacing the cigarette to his lips, he glanced over at the british man starting towards him from the table. "Not 'im again," Émile muttered under his breath. Looking forward again, he started off straight towards the woods.
Oliver quickened his step in his persuing. "Running away again, Cupcake? You break my heart ever so much~"
He followed Émile deep into the woods, the air getting more and more ominous around him. Even though Oliver already lost sight of Émile, he continued to follow blindly.
"Oh Cupcake~ come out come out wherever you are, my dear," Oliver laughed darkly. The dark and secluded setting gave him a vast range of thoughts and images. Following the Frenchman only made his fantasy more and more sadistic.
After a long while, he finally stumbled out of the brush and trees into a lighted opening. He blinked and looked around at the area. "Ahhh...? Where has he brought me to this time?" Oliver straightened out and walked farther into the opening.
Dead center of the area was very large black pit. Oliver stood along the edge and peered down it, not an ending or bottom anywhere near to the surface. He slid a small pebble with his foot over the edge and waited to hear it stop. The sound never came. He hummed.
"Peculiar. Surely my Cupcake couldn't have hid from me down there, then I'd be down in my luck on having fun~"
"It's 'fun' 'zat you want? Let's see 'ow well you can survive 'ze fall 'zen..." Émile said from behind. Before Oliver could turn around, a boot was shoved onto his back, and down he went through the shadows.
