"Merry Christmas, Korosu!!" Hikari shouted at the sleeping Korosu. Korosu opened her eyes to Hikari wearing a red Santa hat and a big smile.
"...merry Christmas." korosu grumbled. She rolled over and hid herself under the covers. The black warmth lasted only a few wonderful seconds.
"Get up, Su-chan! I have a present for you!" Hikari said, taking the covers off of Korosu.
Korosu sat up and rubbed her eyes. Hikari handed a wrapped present to the groggy soul reaper. Korosu took it and opened it up. Inside was a chibi neko and inu necklace. Neko for Korosu, Inu for Hikari. Above them said Best Friends.
Korosu smiled and got up. She hugged Hikari and put it on. "Thanks, Hikari. But don't expect me to wear this often. I rarely wear jewelry enough as it is."
Hikari smiled. "You're welcome, su-chan. Just as long as you're happy with the present, I don't mind if you rarely wear it."
Korosu smiled. Hikari then surprised Korosu with a sudden announcement. "Thats right! There's gonna be a Christmas party today! C'mon!" Hikari started walking out the door.
Korosu sighed and followed. "I love how I'm always told about this things ahead of time." she said sarcastically to herself.
They reached the building were the party was being held. Hikari rushed off to find Renji and Korosu just stayed in the corner. She wasn't a real big fan with this types of events.
Korosu looked around at everyone having fun and dancing. Captain Kyoraku was drinking sake and flirting with the female soul reapers, Hikari and Renji were dancing to Christmas music, and Rangiku was walking towards Korosu.
"Merry Christmas, Korosu!" Rangiku said, holding a bottle of sake.
Korosu looked at her. "Merry christmas, Matsumoto."
Rangiku pouted. "C'mon, don't be a party pooper. Come have fun with us!" she handed Korosu the sake bottle and grabbed her wrist. Korosu realized that Hikari was now following them.
Korosu figured out this was another harebrained scheme by the "Should be Blonde" duo. But before Korosu could do anything, she was knocked out by rangiku. Once again.
When Korosu woke up, she was wearing a revealing Christmas outfit. She wore knee-high boots with heels, a strapless red Santa dress that ended just above her finger-tips, a black, thick belt that made it hard for her to breathe, and a Santa hat to top it off.
Korosu's eyes lit with anger. "Can you two tell me what the hell is going on?!?!" she yelled at Hikari and Rangiku.
Rangiku placed a big red bow on Korosu's head and smiled. "You're going to be a present~ now stay still~" she said as she placed a blindfold on Korosu.
Korosu kicked and struggled as she was dragged back out of the changing room they were in. She heard them say merry Christmas to someone as they placed her down.
Rangiku pulled off the blindfold and right in front of her was Ikkaku. Korosu blushed and looked up, expecting the worse. Of course, only Hikari and Rangiku would place them underneath the mistletoe.
Korosu blushed deeper and looked away from Ikkaku, who was also blushing.
"Well...?" Korosu said. "What are you waiting for?"
Ikkaku smirked and kisses Korosu on the lips. Then he picked her up and headed towards the door. Korosu was pounding on him to put her down.
"Later everyone!" Ikkaku said, grinning. "Thanks for the present, Hikari and Rangiku. Merry Christmas."
And with that, he left with a struggling Korosu and a wonderful present.
Korosu sighed and decided it couldn't be helped. She admitted to herself that she belonged to ikkaku now. She just hoped that he won't do anything... Drastic.
Ikkaku entered his room and put Korosu on the bed. Korosu was confused and tried to fight Ikkaku away as he got in next to her.
"What the hell, cueball??" Korosu said.
Ikkaku wrapped his arms around Korosu and closed his eyes, smiling. "Just give me tonight to enjoy my present, Koro-chan."
Ikkaku opened his eyes and kisse Korosu on the forehead. She was blushing and was very surprised. She found no way out and just went with it.
"...fine..." Korosu said, looking away. She let Ikkaku hold her like a pillow for the night. She looked at him and slightly smiled. "Merry Christmas, cueball."
They both fell asleep instantly for the night...
Merry Christmas~
((I KNOW HALLOWEEN WAS LIKE.... a week ago. But I still wanted to post this! =w=))
Korosu was woken up by a purple haired Renji. She glared, obviously confused, then realized that Hikari had broken into her room once again.
"Morning Su-chan!" Hikari said with a smile.
Korosu sat up slowly and yawned. "Morning... What's with the get-up...?" she asked while rubbing her eyes.
Hikari smiled. "It's Halloween. It's a day here in the world of the living that you get to dress up as someone that you're not. Apparently you get free candy on this day, too."
Korosu blinked. Free candy? Dressing up as someone you're not? Sounded lame, but possibly might be a good thing for her. "So... You're Renji for this 'Halloween.'" Hikari nodded with a slight blush.
Korosu sighed and got up. When she went to open her door, Rangiku was standing outside waiting. "There you are! Now time to come with me~" The last thing Korosu saw was a mischivious smile and then black. She was still concious since she could feel herself being picked up and brought somewhere.
"H-hey! What the hell is going on?!"
"Quit moving around so much, Su-chan. We just want to put you in your costume."
"Wait. What??" Korosu was then knocked out.
When Korosu came to, she could see again. "Well rise and shine su-chan~" Hikari said, giggling.
Korosu got up and rushed past Hikari. She went straight to the mirror to see what was done to her. She was in a short kimono... Her hair was pinned back. And had a small amount of eye makeup on. Some heads were going to roll. She went to get her zanpakuto only to find that it had been replaced by a floral print umbrella.
"HIKARI!!! MATSUMOTO!!!!!" Korosu yelled.
Rangiku and Hikari popped their heads into the room. "Yes?" they both said.
Korosu glared at them. "What the hell did you do to me...??"
Rangiku and Hikari looked at each other. "We put you in your costume for today. Don't you like it?" Rangiku asked.
"HELL NO!!!" Korosu was beginning to get flashbacks of her past. Those were dark days for her now...
"But you look so cute, su-chan!" Hikari said just as the doorbell rang.
"Who the... Who's at the door?"
"Um... Possibly Renji and Ikkaku."
Korosu stared at Hikari as Rangiku left to open the door. Korosu ran towards Hikari and Hikari ran away. "I'm gonna kill you, Hikari!!"
Ikkaku walked into the room just as Hikari and Korosu ran past. He stood in his place in shock, trying to figure out if he really just saw what he thought he saw.
Korosu returned moments later after giving up on Hikari. She ended up hiding behind Renji when they found him. She stopped in her tracks when she saw Ikkaku in the same room she walked into. They stared at each other in silence.
"...What the hell are you supposed to be, cueball?" Korosu said, breaking the awkward silence.
Ikkaku looked away, slightly blushing. "A butler..."
Korosu hit her head against the wall and attempted to hide her own blushing.
Hikari laughed when she walked into the room. "Awwww. KoroKaku forever~" she giggled and ran away as Korosu threw her umbrella at her.
Jinx arrived and held up a pillowcase. "So we going trick-or-treating or not?"
Korosu grabbed a pillowcase of her own. "Might as well get the day over with..." she said bitterly and walked out.
Renji, who was dressed as a cat, walked ahead with Hikari. Jinx walked and ate her already got treats along side Hikari. Korosu and Ikkaku walked behind the others in an awkward silence.
Hikari looked back and giggled. Korosu chucked a piece of candy at the back of her head. "Screw this... I'm goin back home." she turned around and started to head back.
"Su-chaaaan! Don't gooooo." Hikari said, grabbing Korosu's arm. We still need to go to the haunted house. And we're heading there now."
Korosu sighed. "Fine... But after the haunted house, I'm going home."
The group arrived at a building that was grey and the area around it was completely foggy. Screams from the inside could be heard. Hikari teased and clung to Renji. "I'm so scared, Renji. Will you hold my hand when we're inside?" she giggled and blushed brightly.
The sign on the opening said that the maximum in a group was 3 people. "So... Me, Hikari, and Renji will go first, then Su-chan and Ikkaku can go!" Jinx said.
Hikari nodded. "sounds good to me!" hikari grabbed jinx's and renji's arm and walked into the house before Korosu or Ikkaku could object to the idea.
When it was their turn, they walked in. A scream was heard when the guy with a chainsaw in the beginning snuck up and revved the chainsaw. Ikkaku looked down at his hand and noticed it was being held. When he looked up, he was surprised to see Korosu clinging to him in fear.
"Korosu? Are you ok?" Ikkaku asked her.
Korosu shook her head and looked at Ikkaku with scared eyes. "No... Truth be told, I'm terrified of Haunted Houses. I just don't want anyone to know..." she looked down in shame. "If people knew I was afraid of these, they wouldn't respect me anymore. My reputation would be destroyed."
Korosu blushed when Ikkaku unexpectently held her close. "It'll be ok. I'm here to protect you." Korosu remembered the time from before they were soul reapers. Ikkaku said the exact same thing before.
They walked through the rest of the haunted house quickly. Ikkaku holding Korosu whenever she screamed. They finally reached the end and Korosu returned to her normal personality.
"...this never happened." Korosu said. And without looking back, she hesitantly said 'Thank you,' then walked off to find the others.
"So... What happened in there?" Hikari asked grinning.
"Absolutely nothing. This was totally lame. I've seen scarier stuff back in the soul society. Now let's go back home, I'm tired." Korosu sighed and kept walking.
Hikari looked at Ikkaku for some more possible info. He looked away and slightly blushed, not giving away any information. Hikari grinned, figuring out that the very loud scream she kept hearing was definitely from Korosu. She ran up along side Korosu. "Lets trade candy when we get back!"
Korosu looked at Hikari and smirked. "Yeah, alright. Sounds like a plan." She looked back at Ikkaku then looked away and headed back for home.
Korosu yawned and started walking. She remembered where Orihime lived, so she went to go visit her. Only she would know what's best to buy guys for their birthday.
She arrives at Orihime's apartment and rung the doorbell. Korosu heard the locked come undone then watched the door open.
"Koro-chan! It's good to see you. What brings you here?" Orihime asked happily.
Korosu looked down and hid her slightly red cheeks. "I need you... To help me find a good birthday present for... Erm..." before she could finish, she was cut off.
"That's right! Ikkaku's birthday is tomorrow, isn't it? And you want to buy him a present that symbolizes your love for him!" Orihime grabbed Korosu's hands and smiled widely. "Don't worry, Koro-chan! Orihime will help you find the perfect present!"
Korosu stared at Orihime. "Wait, no! I didn't mean it like that!" Orihime smiled and nodded, completely ignoring Korosu, letting go of one hand but holding on to the other and quickly rushed out of the building and towards the mall. "O-Orihime!!!!!!"
"Okay, the first thing you need to know about buying a present is knowing what they like." Orihime said to Korosu once they entered the mall. Korosu was worn out and lost her intent to strangle Orihime for her misreadings.
Korosu straightened herself and looked around the place. There was absolutely nothing in sight that Ikkaku would like for his birthday. They walked around the mall until they found an antique store.
"Shall we window shop?" Orihime asked. Korosu looked at her, confused.
"Window shopping is looking at a stores items through the window." Orihime smiled. "I'm sure you'll find something in here."
Korosu sighed and nodded and started to look in the store. Then she saw it. A dragon figure that looked exactly the same as the dragon design on Ikkaku's bankai. 'I wonder if he'll like this?' she thought to herself.
She walked into the store with Orihime following behind her. She brought the figure to the cash register and paid for it.
Orihime smiled at Korosu once they were out of the store. "I'm sure Ikkaku will love it! Especially if you bought it for him. Heehee."
Korosu smirked and looked at the dragon. She just had to wait until tomorrow to give it to him.
She waved good-bye to Orihime and passed through the seireitei once again to return home. She made a card like Orihime told her to, and decorated a box with colorful paper and placed the dragon figure inside.
During the night, Korosu realized that she couldn't easily hand it to Ikkaku in the morning. So she walked over to his room and left it outside his door. "I need to remember to give him one last special present tomorrow. One that can't be put in a colorful box." she whispered to herself. Then she went back to her room and headed to sleep.
The next morning came and she woke to a knock at her door. She lazily crawled over and slide open the door. She looked up and saw Ikkaku with a slight smile. "Mornin' cueball... I was havin' a nice dream, thanks for wakin' me up..." she was kidding, but still pissed that she got woken up way to early.
Ikkaku rolled his eyes. "Got anything else you wanna say to me? Or do you want me to read it from this card?" He smirked.
Korosu flopped down onto her back. "Go ahead and read it. See if I give a damn."
Ikkaku smirked. "What ever floats your boat." He held up the card and started reading it aloud. "'Happy birthday, Ikkaku. I bet you thought I wouldve forgotten. But i didn't. It was tough getting you a present, but I hope that what i found will suit your likings. The dragon reminded me of the design on your bankai, so that's what I got for you. Anyways, you will recieve one last present in the morning. It's something that cannot be put into a box. Happy birthday, once again. Korosu'"
Ikkaku looked down at Korosu who was falling asleep again. "So what's this last present you have for me, hmmm?"
Korosu opened her eyes and rolled over. She got up and looked around outside to make sure no one else was around. Once making sure they were alone, she smirked.
"Your final present is the one thing that you'll probably rarely receive." She took a step towards Ikkaku and kissed him quickly on the lips. "I love you, birthday boy." She grinned and left Ikkaku standing frozen and blushing a deep red.
Happy Birthday, Ikkaku <3
((I know his birthday was a few days ago, but I still wanna post this -//-))
Korosu yawned as she took another sip of sake. She and Ikkaku were having a drinking party along with Rangiku and Captain Kyoraku. "So," Rangiku said. "Tomorrow's your birthday, eh Ikkaku?"
Ikkaku took another sip of his sake and nodded. "That's right."
Korosu headdesked. She had completely forgotten about his birthday. But she was too drunk to remember anything at the moment, anyway.
Shunsui smiled. "We should have another drinking party for Ikkaku."
Nanao walked into the room with a look that could kill. "Captain..." She lifted her book and slammed it on top of Shunsui's head. Next we knew, he was out cold and being dragged out by his assistant captain.
Rangiku laughed. "Heehee. Looks like that idea has been crossed out." She took another sip of her sake.
Korosu set down her empty bottle and stood up. "Well if you excuse me, I have some work I need to get finished."
Rangiku groaned. "Awwwww. Don't be such a party-pooper, Su-chaaan."
Korosu shook her head. "I really want to stay longer but this work is very important.
"You're not really the type to do any work though, Korosu." Ikkaku said.
Korosu was beginning to get angry. "I said... I need to finish some work. Now if you excuse me." She turned and walked out. Soon enough, she was being followed. She sensed their spiritual energy. 'Hm... So, Hikari joined them as well, eh?' Korosu thought. She let out a sigh and stopped.
"SU-CHAAAAAAAAN!!!!!" Hikari came out of her hiding spot and glomped Korosu. "Are you actually doing work???" she asked, surprised.
Korosu nodded. "Yes..." she leaned in close to Hikari and whispered. "I'm trying to get something done for Ikkaku's birthday. Now leave me the hell alone. And bring the other two stalkers with you."
Hikari grinned. "Awww~ Whatchya gonna do for---" she was cut off by Korosu putting her hand over her mouth. "Say a freakin word and I swear I will kick you to next week. And my threats are not empty.
Hikari pouted. "You're no fun, Su-chan. But fine. I'll keep my mouth shut." she sighed and returned to Rangiku and Ikkaku.
Korosu went back to walking. 'Finally... Peace and quiet...' she thought. She arrived back to her room and locked the door.
She looked around for her wallet. "Where the hell is it? I know I left it over here."
"Looking for something?" Ikkaku said, standing in the doorway and holding Korosu's wallet. He smirked at her surprised face.
"How did you get in, and give me back my wallet." She walked over to him and snatched her wallet back.
He leaned against the wall. "It's not very hard to pick your lock, ya know."
Korosu grimaced and walked past Ikkaku. She went outside and started walking quickly hoping that she will not be followed.
Ikkaku was right beside her quickly. "So what do you need your wallet for? And where are you going?"
Korosu glared at him. "None of your damn business, cueball. Now leave me alone so I can get my work done."
Ikkaku sighed. "Tch. Fine. See ya tomorrow then.." He waved his hand then headed back.
Korosu watched him leave. She felt bad about making him leave like that, but she couldn't have him be around while she got his birthday present.
She got permission to pass through the seireitei, so soon enough, she was back in Karakura Town again.
((if there are any spelling/grammer errors, ignore them. My iPod doesn't like to be perfect -___-))
((this is how Korosu came into play! XD))
Ikkaku and Yumichika were walking through the streets of the soul society. It was a bright and sunny day and nothing seemed out of the ordinary.
"Jeez, I kinda wish something interesting would happen for once." Ikkaku said with a sigh.
"I'm sure something will happen soon. Good things always happen to beautiful men like us." Yumichika said, brushing his hair to the side with his hand.
Ikkaku grinned and chuckled. "Heh, maybe you're right."
"Yo Ikkaku! Long time no see." a mysterious voice said from a nearby roof.
Ikkaku and Yumichika looked up to where the voice was and saw someone standing on the roof. The mystery person grinned. "It's been awhile, hasn't it?"
Ikkaku's eyes widen and stepped back in shock. "K-korosu?? Is that really you?"
The person smirked and jumped off of the building with a flip. "Hehe. I'm glad you still remeber me, Ikkaku." Korosu said patting her hand on Ikkaku's shoulder and smiling.
"You never told me about Korosu, Ikkaku. He would definitly fit in with us beautiful men." Yumichika said, with sparkles surrounding him.
Korosu blinked at Yumichika. "You... Think I'm a guy?" Korosu burst out laughing. "Why does everyone think that I'm a guy?I'm a girl who's just a tomboy." she said, chuckling. "Oh, Ikkaku! That reminds, I got 4th seat on squad 11! I'm right behind you!" she was wearing a cocky smile and was laughing.
"What?! How did you get on my squad? It's pretty much all guys." Ikkaku said. He was puzzled by the fact that a girl was on squad 11.
"How mean." Korosu said, folding her arms across her chest. "Strong girls like me can get on this squad, too, you know. Plus, I look like a boy with my short hair, anyway."
Ikkaku scoffed. "Well you got a point there. I hardly recognized you at first."
Korosu smiled and a hint of anger. "Oh, so you almost forgot your childhood friend?" she grabbed her sword, still in it's sheath, and hit Ikkaku on the head with it.
Ikkaku rubbed his head. "HEY! What the hell was that for??" he glared at Korosu.
"For almost forgetting me, you jerk!" Korosu said, starting to unsheath her sword.
"Oh, so you want a fight, huh? Well, if it's a fight you want, it's a fight you'll get!" Ikkaku said, pulling his sword out and holding his sheath with the other hand.
Korosu threw her sheath at full force at Ikkaku after pulling out her sword. "Ha! Take that, cueball!"
Ikkaku's eye twitched. "C-cueball?! Why you little." he ran towards Korosu, ready to strike.
Korosu blocked Ikkaku's sword with hers. She tripped Ikkaku and moved out the way quickly before he fell. When he fell on the ground, Korosu walked over to Ikkaku and rested her foot on his back.
"Heehee. Looks like after all this time, I can still kick your ass." Korosu said with a smirk.
Yumichika called over to Ikkaku and Korosu. "Hey you two. This might be a nice reunion for you, but I think we should be heading back."
Korosu groaned. "Awww. But I wanted to go out for some sake as a celebration."
Ikkaku looked up at Korosu, who was still resting her foot on his back. "Celebration? What for?"
Korosu looked down at Ikkaku and smiled. "For me getting 4th seat in the 11th company! And for kicking your ass." she smirked. She ran off while laughing playfully. "Drinks are on Ikkaku!"
Ikkaku stood up immediately. "Hey wait a minute! I'm not paying!! You get back here, Korosu!!!" He ran off after Korosu.
Yumichika followed and smirked to himself. "Looks like we just added a 3rd member to our 2 person group." he said chuckling.
((please ignore any spelling/grammer errors. You may blame my iPod for that))
