Ikkaku's Birthday: Part 1

((I know his birthday was a few days ago, but I still wanna post this -//-))

Korosu yawned as she took another sip of sake. She and Ikkaku were having a drinking party along with Rangiku and Captain Kyoraku. "So," Rangiku said. "Tomorrow's your birthday, eh Ikkaku?"

Ikkaku took another sip of his sake and nodded. "That's right."

Korosu headdesked. She had completely forgotten about his birthday. But she was too drunk to remember anything at the moment, anyway.

Shunsui smiled. "We should have another drinking party for Ikkaku."

Nanao walked into the room with a look that could kill. "Captain..." She lifted her book and slammed it on top of Shunsui's head. Next we knew, he was out cold and being dragged out by his assistant captain.

Rangiku laughed. "Heehee. Looks like that idea has been crossed out." She took another sip of her sake.

Korosu set down her empty bottle and stood up. "Well if you excuse me, I have some work I need to get finished."

Rangiku groaned. "Awwwww. Don't be such a party-pooper, Su-chaaan."

Korosu shook her head. "I really want to stay longer but this work is very important.

"You're not really the type to do any work though, Korosu." Ikkaku said.

Korosu was beginning to get angry. "I said... I need to finish some work. Now if you excuse me." She turned and walked out. Soon enough, she was being followed. She sensed their spiritual energy. 'Hm... So, Hikari joined them as well, eh?' Korosu thought. She let out a sigh and stopped.

"SU-CHAAAAAAAAN!!!!!" Hikari came out of her hiding spot and glomped Korosu. "Are you actually doing work???" she asked, surprised.

Korosu nodded. "Yes..." she leaned in close to Hikari and whispered. "I'm trying to get something done for Ikkaku's birthday. Now leave me the hell alone. And bring the other two stalkers with you."

Hikari grinned. "Awww~ Whatchya gonna do for---" she was cut off by Korosu putting her hand over her mouth. "Say a freakin word and I swear I will kick you to next week. And my threats are not empty.

Hikari pouted. "You're no fun, Su-chan. But fine. I'll keep my mouth shut." she sighed and returned to Rangiku and Ikkaku.

Korosu went back to walking. 'Finally... Peace and quiet...' she thought. She arrived back to her room and locked the door.

She looked around for her wallet. "Where the hell is it? I know I left it over here."

"Looking for something?" Ikkaku said, standing in the doorway and holding Korosu's wallet. He smirked at her surprised face.

"How did you get in, and give me back my wallet." She walked over to him and snatched her wallet back.

He leaned against the wall. "It's not very hard to pick your lock, ya know."

Korosu grimaced and walked past Ikkaku. She went outside and started walking quickly hoping that she will not be followed.

Ikkaku was right beside her quickly. "So what do you need your wallet for? And where are you going?"

Korosu glared at him. "None of your damn business, cueball. Now leave me alone so I can get my work done."

Ikkaku sighed. "Tch. Fine. See ya tomorrow then.." He waved his hand then headed back.

Korosu watched him leave. She felt bad about making him leave like that, but she couldn't have him be around while she got his birthday present.

She got permission to pass through the seireitei, so soon enough, she was back in Karakura Town again.
