((I KNOW HALLOWEEN WAS LIKE.... a week ago. But I still wanted to post this! =w=))
Korosu was woken up by a purple haired Renji. She glared, obviously confused, then realized that Hikari had broken into her room once again.
"Morning Su-chan!" Hikari said with a smile.
Korosu sat up slowly and yawned. "Morning... What's with the get-up...?" she asked while rubbing her eyes.
Hikari smiled. "It's Halloween. It's a day here in the world of the living that you get to dress up as someone that you're not. Apparently you get free candy on this day, too."
Korosu blinked. Free candy? Dressing up as someone you're not? Sounded lame, but possibly might be a good thing for her. "So... You're Renji for this 'Halloween.'" Hikari nodded with a slight blush.
Korosu sighed and got up. When she went to open her door, Rangiku was standing outside waiting. "There you are! Now time to come with me~" The last thing Korosu saw was a mischivious smile and then black. She was still concious since she could feel herself being picked up and brought somewhere.
"H-hey! What the hell is going on?!"
"Quit moving around so much, Su-chan. We just want to put you in your costume."
"Wait. What??" Korosu was then knocked out.
When Korosu came to, she could see again. "Well rise and shine su-chan~" Hikari said, giggling.
Korosu got up and rushed past Hikari. She went straight to the mirror to see what was done to her. She was in a short kimono... Her hair was pinned back. And had a small amount of eye makeup on. Some heads were going to roll. She went to get her zanpakuto only to find that it had been replaced by a floral print umbrella.
"HIKARI!!! MATSUMOTO!!!!!" Korosu yelled.
Rangiku and Hikari popped their heads into the room. "Yes?" they both said.
Korosu glared at them. "What the hell did you do to me...??"
Rangiku and Hikari looked at each other. "We put you in your costume for today. Don't you like it?" Rangiku asked.
"HELL NO!!!" Korosu was beginning to get flashbacks of her past. Those were dark days for her now...
"But you look so cute, su-chan!" Hikari said just as the doorbell rang.
"Who the... Who's at the door?"
"Um... Possibly Renji and Ikkaku."
Korosu stared at Hikari as Rangiku left to open the door. Korosu ran towards Hikari and Hikari ran away. "I'm gonna kill you, Hikari!!"
Ikkaku walked into the room just as Hikari and Korosu ran past. He stood in his place in shock, trying to figure out if he really just saw what he thought he saw.
Korosu returned moments later after giving up on Hikari. She ended up hiding behind Renji when they found him. She stopped in her tracks when she saw Ikkaku in the same room she walked into. They stared at each other in silence.
"...What the hell are you supposed to be, cueball?" Korosu said, breaking the awkward silence.
Ikkaku looked away, slightly blushing. "A butler..."
Korosu hit her head against the wall and attempted to hide her own blushing.
Hikari laughed when she walked into the room. "Awwww. KoroKaku forever~" she giggled and ran away as Korosu threw her umbrella at her.
Jinx arrived and held up a pillowcase. "So we going trick-or-treating or not?"
Korosu grabbed a pillowcase of her own. "Might as well get the day over with..." she said bitterly and walked out.
Renji, who was dressed as a cat, walked ahead with Hikari. Jinx walked and ate her already got treats along side Hikari. Korosu and Ikkaku walked behind the others in an awkward silence.
Hikari looked back and giggled. Korosu chucked a piece of candy at the back of her head. "Screw this... I'm goin back home." she turned around and started to head back.
"Su-chaaaan! Don't gooooo." Hikari said, grabbing Korosu's arm. We still need to go to the haunted house. And we're heading there now."
Korosu sighed. "Fine... But after the haunted house, I'm going home."
The group arrived at a building that was grey and the area around it was completely foggy. Screams from the inside could be heard. Hikari teased and clung to Renji. "I'm so scared, Renji. Will you hold my hand when we're inside?" she giggled and blushed brightly.
The sign on the opening said that the maximum in a group was 3 people. "So... Me, Hikari, and Renji will go first, then Su-chan and Ikkaku can go!" Jinx said.
Hikari nodded. "sounds good to me!" hikari grabbed jinx's and renji's arm and walked into the house before Korosu or Ikkaku could object to the idea.
When it was their turn, they walked in. A scream was heard when the guy with a chainsaw in the beginning snuck up and revved the chainsaw. Ikkaku looked down at his hand and noticed it was being held. When he looked up, he was surprised to see Korosu clinging to him in fear.
"Korosu? Are you ok?" Ikkaku asked her.
Korosu shook her head and looked at Ikkaku with scared eyes. "No... Truth be told, I'm terrified of Haunted Houses. I just don't want anyone to know..." she looked down in shame. "If people knew I was afraid of these, they wouldn't respect me anymore. My reputation would be destroyed."
Korosu blushed when Ikkaku unexpectently held her close. "It'll be ok. I'm here to protect you." Korosu remembered the time from before they were soul reapers. Ikkaku said the exact same thing before.
They walked through the rest of the haunted house quickly. Ikkaku holding Korosu whenever she screamed. They finally reached the end and Korosu returned to her normal personality.
"...this never happened." Korosu said. And without looking back, she hesitantly said 'Thank you,' then walked off to find the others.
"So... What happened in there?" Hikari asked grinning.
"Absolutely nothing. This was totally lame. I've seen scarier stuff back in the soul society. Now let's go back home, I'm tired." Korosu sighed and kept walking.
Hikari looked at Ikkaku for some more possible info. He looked away and slightly blushed, not giving away any information. Hikari grinned, figuring out that the very loud scream she kept hearing was definitely from Korosu. She ran up along side Korosu. "Lets trade candy when we get back!"
Korosu looked at Hikari and smirked. "Yeah, alright. Sounds like a plan." She looked back at Ikkaku then looked away and headed back for home.
