((Berlin is my Hetalia OC <3 This is how Germany and Prussia found her ^^
BE WARNED: ;w; it's touching and sad))
Two boys walked through the empty streets in the middle of a rainy night. They were worn out and exhausted...
"Arg...!! Dammit, Germany! 'Vhy the hell is someone as awesome as me 'valking through the rain?" The Silverhaired boy complained. His clothes were tattered and ruined.
"Shut up, already, Prussia!" The one who was called Germany yelled. "'Ve are injured and tired 'und I don't need your annoying complaints at the moment..!!!" He ran his hand through his wet and messy hair.
Prussia pouted looked to the ground. They both wish they had their father to help them, but sadly, he was long since gone.
The rain continued and the two boys shuffled through miles of puddles. They finally broke down and took a break when they found a broken fountain. Boxes were piled around everything, most were empty, others were filled with hidden ammo.
"It's a miracle 've managed to escape that, Bruder..." Prussia began. "But I don't know how much longer I can go..."
The blonde gave a pointed stare at his brother. "Don't say that, Bruder. You're not going to die here."
The brothers sat in the rain and rested up. It wasn't until dawn was nearing was when the rain finally let up. Germany woke up to a sliver of light hitting his eye. He looked over at Prussia, who was sleeping in a lazy pose.
The blonde was just about to wake up the albino when he heard quiet sobs coming from a group of empty boxes. He slowly took his gun in hand and kicked his brother. "Prussia. 'Vake up."
Prussia woke up with a sleepy start. "Hey, 'vhat the he-" He was cut off by Germany shushing him. He became more alert when he heard the sobbing as well.
The boys slowly walked over to the boxes, ready to attack anything that threatened them. They stopped at the box with the source of the sound. They looked at each other.
"...You open it." Prussia said. "I'm too awesome to open a possible deadly box."
Germany rolled his eyes and slowly reached for the box. He opened the top with care and kept his gun on it. They both lowered their guns at their discovery.
A young silver-haired, ice blue-eyed girl looked up at them in tears. She was cowering at the bottom. She couldn't let out a single sound with how scared she was.
"A little girl??" Prussia exclaimed. "Who keeps a girl as ammo??"
Germany kept his eyes on hers. "I think she 'vas hiding. Am I right, little one?"
The girl nodded with a sobbed. "I-I am B-berlin. I've been left all alone and defenseless..."
Germany looked at Prussia. "'Ve can't leave her here, Bruder. 'Ve need to take her in as our schwester."
Prussia looked at the girl and then back at Germany. "I agree 'vith you, Bruder. The awesome me couldn't stand to leave a helpless girl left like this."
Germany looked back at Berlin. "'Vould you like to become part of our family, Berlin?" He smiled softly.
Berlin's eyes seemed to glitter when Germany's smile reassured her. She stood up and stepped out of her hiding spot. "Do you promise not to leave me alone, big Bruder?" She asked.
Germany's cheeked pinkened. For once, he was the bigger brother. He nodded. "I promise, Berlin." He held out his hand for hers.
Berlin took his hand and smiled. She finally felt safe again. With her other hand, she took Prussia's hand as they walked off towards home.
