"REIN!!!" The female voice echoed through the room.
Rein and Jeni were broken out of their trance. They looked over at the door that was busted open. An angry girl who looked a little like Rein stood in the doorway.
"Damn it, Rein! Where the hell have you been?? Picking up more girls, I see." The girl ranted.
Rein sighed as his expression turned annoyed. "Mari..."
Mari, Rein's twin sister, glared at her brother. "You left me all alone with Chaos and Banshee AGAIN!!" She screeched. "Do you know how hard it is to be with them by just myself??" Her ranting continued.
Rein attempted to speak over his sister, but didn't even try anymore. He looked back at Jeni. "Ignore my twin sister, Jeni... She's always been a brat."
Jeni chuckled. "It's quite alright, Rein. It's fun to have a little commotion going on." she gave him a smile.
Rein returned the smile. Only for it to be faded away into more annoyance. He released Jeni and yelled at his sister, whose babbling hasn't stopped since it started. "MARI!!! Silence, already!!"
Mari's ranting ended immediately. She looked from Rein to Jeni, finally piecing together the situation. "So you finally managed to successfully seduce someone? And the Princess of Pure, no less!!" She laughed happily and patted her brother on the shoulder. "Good for you, Rein!"
Rein blushed as he slid his sister's hand off his shoulder. "Er... You're wrong, Mari. I didn't do anything to win over the Princess." He said, quietly enough so only Mari could hear.
Mari becamed puzzled. "So... You didn't do anything? No magic, nothing?" she blinked. "She came WILLINGLY?" she asked in disbelief. Rein nodded in reply.
"Well that's even better, big Brother! We'll soon rule everything when word gets out that the Princess came on her own!" Mari cheered.
Rein shook his head. "It's not all that easy... It wouldn't be considered her leaving willingly if I took her away in the middle of her wedding..."
"Screw that! If she says she came willingly, we shouldn't be in any trouble!"
"You're not getting the point..." Rein said, getting quite annoyed.
At that moment, a knock at the door put a halt to their bickering. "Dinner is ready, my Lord." Rein's personal servant said and walked away.
Mari walked towards the door and opened it. Before leaving, she turned around and pointed at Rein. "This isn't over, Brother! I will win this arguement!!" she left and slammed the door behind her.
Rein sighed and shook his head. "There's something wrong with her." he muttered. He held out his hand as he looked back at Jeni. "Let's go eat, Princess. I'm sure you're quite hungry." he smiled as Jeni took his hand and he led her out to the dining hall.
After seating themselves at the table, a large dinner was placed before them. Rein held up his wine glass in toast. "To welcome the most beautiful princess of all to my home. And to my heart." he smirked.
Jeni blushed brightly, clinking her glass against Reins' and taking a sip of her wine. Taking a sip of his own wine, Rein kept his gaze on the princess sitting beside him.
After a silent dinner together, Jeni yawned. "S-sorry." She said with a slight blush.
Rein chuckled. "It's quite alright. It's been a long day for you." He excused himself from the table and pulled out Jeni's chair, allowing her to get up.
Rein lead Jeni back to the room she'll be staying in. Bowing, he took the Princess's hand in his and kissed the back of it.
"Sleep well, my Princess."
Jeni gave a slight curtsey and blush. "Thank you, my Prince. Good night." she turned around and entered her room, shutting the door behind her.
Jeni couldn't keep her heart from beating fast. "It's wrong but it feels so right." She said aloud. She smiled to herself and made her way back to the bed.
"Well well well, Chaos-dear~ It seems our 'master' has brought us a new puppet to play with."
"You may be right, Banshee-love."
The two voices stepped out of the shadows. The female with a wicked look and the male with any kind of expression being hidden by a scarf. The two launched towards Jeni, her shriek for help getting cut off, then darkness.
