The New Zodiac
This is my Furuba club! YAY! Here, you are the new Zodiac generation! Only one person per animal, and ONE ANIMAL PER PERSON! Up to three humans that are involved with the Sohma family. The stories MUST CONNECT! No saying someone does something when they already posted their story where they did something totally opposite. If you want to make your person like another persons oc, YOU MUST TELL THEM YOU WANT TO! Thanx, and have tons of fun! :D

As Zaphea and Yume fight anyway, I stood and watched. I knew that Yume would be a better fighter because of the curse, but I wanted to know how well Zaphea would stand her own. Then Yume suddenly says the fight is over, and Zaphea runs off. I watch her go, but say nothing-even though I should. After a few minutes, he (finally) notices her absence. Of course this angers him, and he yells to me "Ami, go get that thing, and drag it back!!"
"What 'thing'?" He glares at me and says, coldly "The cat ran off, I can't get it because I have to deal with Yume."
"So, why do I have to get her?" I'm pushing my luck, but I want her to be able to get as far away from here as she can. The head strides over to me, and slaps me, hard, for disobeying him. I turn and walk away. "Where are you going?!" he demands to know "I'm going to find Zaphea." I say. I was trying to stay so I could see Yume's punishment, but that of course didn't happen.
As I walk off, I hear him yelling at Yume, but I can't hear what's being said. After a little while, I come to the lake. Just as I thought, Zaphea was sitting on the cliff, crying. As I walk over, she jumps up, and demands "What are you doing here?!"
"I was told to drag you back." I reply. "I'm not going back there!" she says, looking panicked "No your not," I say simply. Zaphea stares at me, confused, so I finish "I'm going to say I couldn't find you." I walk over to her and sit by her, she asks me why I'm still here so I tell her if I go back now the head won't think I truly looked."
"Well, how long are you going to be here?" She asks. "30 minutes at the least." I reply.

My kitten just noticed what the computer does, so she was trying to push buttens, lol!! ^_^
I couldn't tell if it was a compliment or a dis, but I didn't care. The head seemed furious. While he glared at the rat, I used it as my chance to get away. Without making a sound, I turned and fled into the forest. The rat was in the zodiac, so I'd get more of the punishment than she would. Cats never got a simple grounding. We got locked away as a monster.
I came to a lake in the middle of the forest. The same one from earlier. I sat on a cliff overlooking it, admiring how it sparkled in the moon light. Slowly, a hot tear ran down my cheek, threatening to burn my skin. I had no one. Uncle Suke was more of my master than a reletive, and I was an outcast in the zodiac. Nobody ever loved the cat. Nobody ever will.
Sure, I had heard the stories of the former boar and the former cat, but she had admitted it was more because she felt mad at herself for something she did when she was little.
I never wanted to see the head again. If I did, I wouldn't get a warning next time before my confinement. Maybe I wouldn't have to do anything at all...

I glanced around. “There is no point in fighting when there will be no winner,” I said. “Why fight a hopeless battle? It’s obvious that we’re evenly matched.”
The head growled. “You were holding back!” he accused.
I ignored him. “I’m not afraid of the head,” I stated. “As you can tell, I can hold my own, even against a more seasoned fighter as you, Zaphea-san. I think I’ll be fine.”

I listened while she choked me. I knew what she said was true, but by now I was fighting more to not be locked up then out of anger. The girl was hard to dislike.
"Listen," I choked out softly, "I don't actually hate you. I really can't. But you wouldn't know what it would be like to have to be locked up, a monster for the occasional passerby to laugh at."
Basically, I have to fight." I told her as she loosened her grip. "The head is not one to be delt with."
"The fight is over," she announced, taking everyone by surprise.

Zaphea isn't as bad as you may think. She just doesn't want to have any reason to upset the leader. The cat isn't that popular, ya know.

The cat has the rat. I pushed myself off the ground quickly, making her lose her footing. I twisted around and grabbed her throat in one hand and her hands in the other and pinned her to the ground again.
“That was in the past!” I shouted. “The rat’s spirit did that, not me! We are all different from the past hosts! We are different from the spirits! Do you really want a life of constant fear because of something that happened in the past?!
“I sure don’t!! Instead of fighting why don’t we try to find a way out of this dreaded curse? We all feel pain! Because of the rat’s spirit, I too have a ruined life! If I didn’t have the rat’s spirit I could go to public school and have friends and not be afraid of being a outcast in society! We aren’t so different!” My eyes narrowed. “Even if you beat me, there’s nothing to gain but false pride.”
