Nobody

Nobody jumped slightly when Aislinn had come up beside her, smiling, though her ears were dropped.
"Nobody... Please the pups shouldn't be in this cold. You can stay with Luna and Scruffie.. We'll protect the pups with you." She said, her eyes fixed on the two sleeping puppies. Nobody whined gently, and her ears laid flat.
"How? They don't know that their mother is dead. I told them she would come for them. What can I tell them?" Nobody said, shifting her paws so that they pressed against the cold pups. The chihuahua, Life, stirred, his large ears poking up, and then he breathed out, and sunk deeper into sleep. The retriever pup awoke, smacking her jaws together as she yawned.

"Nobody... I'm cooold." She complained, her paws shaking horribly. Nobody wanted to throw her head back and howl, but the pup needed her.
"It's alright, Kiala. We'll be warm soon."
"Momma's coming back? Oh boy! Where is she!?" As Kiala was looking around, she caught sight of Aislinn. "You're not Momma!" Kiala wailed, waking Life.
