This is a random journal, but I had to say something, as girly as it is >_<
This morning I felt an urge to go to the Museum on the hill. Well, I went, and after I was done I was standing outside waiting for my ride when I happened to look south. I'm from a place that's nearly completely covered in forest, so trees normally make it so I can't see long distances. But when I looked south, I saw the mountains. Not just the mountains, just a small section of them, for the rest were hidden by clouds. But these mountains were illuminated by a golden light that made them look almost divine in a way, promising. Then, just to the west of those mountains (my right) it was completely different. The clouds were darker and did not shine any light through, making a small section of mountains there look dark and gloomy, partially hidden by fog. I thought it was beautiful, seeing suck contrast in the same mountain range.
I wanted so BAD to take a picture, but I forgot my CAMERA! >< I only had my sketchbook (I always have it with me), so I wrote down what I saw, being overly poetic about it, because I was so stunned by this sight for some reason...I suppose it's one of those moments where you just kind of stop and wonder like, "This is seriously real? Something about all of this just doesn't seem normal, it almost seems like it's artificial and fake. I mean;
I have lived here all my life yet never have seen this sight."
I'm going to post a picture of my handwriting scribbling the sight down feverishly and practically unreadable, but still, for some reason this really had me staring at it. I didn't wanna draw it in pencil, since it'd lose it's color and be plain that way, but maybe I can do something with it with watercolor soon before the image leaves my mind.
This may have entirely been stupid and a waste of time, but for some reason it was really important to me.
