Organizational skills and Sleep - BAHD Rewrite.

Firstly, I've been incredibly tired this last week or so. Can't seem to get enough sleep. I always wake up after 8 hours, even if I'm so tired I feel I could have easily slept 11 hours. It's been going on for about a week now, so I'm awake, but physically exhausted. It's weird, knowing that I'm tired, and yet I can't sleep, and I don't FEEL tired. And my arthritus has been flaring up too, but I tough it out, because I want to type and draw regardless...

I was going through my sketchbooks and realized it was really unorganized, so I've come to a decision.

Lately I've been working on my Character Bible. But then I started working more on my BAHD story, since I plan on rewriting the whole thing this summer. I thought it'd be easy, but now I'm beginning to see how much work I actually have to put into this thing, especially if I want to REALLY make it good.
Firstly, I've finally started including a crucial addition: dates. Originally BAHD didn't have any specific dates. But over the past few weeks I've compiled up a list of main character birthdays, birthstones, and birth years. I even started contructing a "calendar" of events, planning out what happens when in the BAHD universe. It's been a lot of work and my mind has been cramming math numbers T_T but it's been worth it. Through this, I also determined that the Angels assault Camaria in early November. I'm still figuring out exact dates for everything.
Then I'm planning backgrounds. I have most of the main characters backgrounds planned, but now I'm exploring the whole world of BAHD, nationality histories, minor character histories, and I have plans to eventually draw a map of the BAHD universe.

But overall, it's been fun. Organizing BAHD to be more consistant and clear is actually fun. I surprised myself.
Then came the Character Bible. When I started I was just doing the sheets on loose pieces of paper and incorporating the design pages in my regular sketchbook. But now I realize there's gonna be a LOT of character sheets. I mean, with 14 MAIN characters and like...15 regular characters who need solid designs plus ethniticy designs I decided to now carry around two notebooks, one for BAHD design and planning, the other for my other drawings.

I'm trying to figure out nearly EVERY aspect of this story. Starting with BAHD, and slowly moving onto ASS, then HOLE, then DUDE.
Looking back on this, I can see where this is a little obsessive. I mean, who plans this much stuff out on a normal story? I do, I suppose. Then, maybe when I complete BAHD a second time I'll go back and re-edit Unison as well. This is just me rambling my process, since my legs are killing me right now.
