I'm Home! :D

Hi guys! I'm back from New Mexico!
...
*met with complete silence as people ignore her and continue to carry on with their lives.*

Anywho, to the few of you who ARE reading this and knew that I left, I had alot of fun visiting my friend down in New Mexico! Here's the short and long of what I did when I was down there: Went hiking, went and saw Up and Transfromers, watched Pink Panther 2, played in the mud, went on a picnic, had lunch in Cuba, went swimming, and planned to go on a cruise to Alaska next summer. All in all it was great fun.

And technically, I got home yesterday, but right after I got home, I went to the carnival! :D (it was the lame downtown Plainfield one, but it was a great deal of fun!). Then I came home and collapsed and slept...so now I'm typing this today. ^^

But you know...you guys were busy when I was gone. My poor update box is all filled up...I'm not sure if I'll be able to comment on everything X_x BUT if you guys have something you're really proud of or something you think I should see, then leave a comment and I'll go and have a look-see.

Baby If You're Good To Go, We'll Go Down To (New) Mexico

100 brownie points if you can tell me the song that I (sorta) ripped the title of this post from! :D (Hint: It's a country song)

So, odd title you might be thinking right? Well, not really becuase I'm headed to New Mexico~! I'm going to go visit one of my friends who moved down there (some of you may remember me talking about this before...highly unlikely though :D), that means that I'm flying on the plane by myself. It should be fun~

And now for the slightly bad news, that means I probably (HA! Spelled it right >:D) woun't be able to talk to you guys all of next week. But, I might sneak on my friend's computer...it's highly unlikely since I'm there to see her, not her computer, but who knows? :3

So guys, I'll be leaving on Sunday afternoon (I most likely will not be on tomorrow though becuase I have plans and the such). So, I wish you guys all the best next week~...but, before I leave I feel like ripping some memes and ideas off of Kiro :D. So here are the Ryuchu versions of the memes AND a to-do list ^^

1. When I'm bored I bake. It's often time cookies, but recently it's been other things like tarts and buiscuits
2. I have a really bad habit of biting not only my nails, but the cuticles around my nails...it makes it look like I've eaten my fingers
3. I always feel really bad when I spend money, particularly if I'm on vication
4. If I'm ever in a group of three people, I tend to not talk at all and just clam up and let the other people talk (but oddly enough not when I'm in a group of 2)
5. I HAVE to have background noise in order for me to fall asleep, so I often sleep with my T.V. turned on.
6. Speaking of T.V., I have an odd obsession with those shows where they have people bring in a bunch of antiques and the people tell them how much their worth. (but I would never want to go to an antique show XD) (And infomercials...I love watching those too :D)
7. The last time I went on a vication with my family was when I was in 5th grade; I'm going to be a senior next year.
8. I positively HATE having my picture taken, I'm not sure why, I just do
9. I often talk to myself and confuse my family because they believe I am talking to them
10. It's almost impossible for me to nap in the middle of the day unless I stayed up for 24 hours or something like that

Just A Little Mini-Rant

Okay...I don't know if this is just me getting annoyed by weird things or if this actually has some merit to it (most likely the first one), but I'm curious if this bugs anyone else...

You know how you'll post artwork and get faves and comments and such? I never understand why a picture would get more faves than comments...if a person likes a piece of artwork enough that their willing to fav it (which I'm assuming means their likely to look at it again or something...) why wouldn't they want to tell the artist why they like their work? If you like something THAT much, you should really tell the author WHY....just personally I like to know the reason that people are favoriting my artwork...

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that faving artwork is bad or anything, I'm just saying it would mean alot to me (and I'm sure many other artists) if you are going to fav someone's artwork, you inform them about what you like about their artwork. (Plus, I'd rather get 1 comment than 10 faves...comments are just so much more personal :D)

Sorry if this stirkes a nerve or you don't agree...but this is just my opinon...I'm curious though...does anyone agrees with this line of thinking?
