The second thought (note: this is not from the original story of Sabriela)

In the corner nearest the snacks Shifibaku leaned against the wall searching for the young woman and Garry with no luck. Just as he was about to give up the little girl emerged from the crowd and was headed for the punch. Someone bumped her from behind and she started to fall. The lights went out. Shifibaku dropped his drink and stretched out catching the girl. The darkness was broken twice with a muzzle flash and just as the ring of the second shot faded from everyone’s ears one of Henry’s men turned back on the lights. A large amount of gasps were let out around the center of the room. The girl trembling in shifibaku’s arms knew exactly what was going on.
Edward was disturbed and angered by the sudden turn of events and rushed to the site of the commotion only to see a massive amount of blood around the center painting and no body. A spatter had flown up and hit the painting ruining it for any dignified sale. This made him even more enraged for now he would be known for living in a haunted house. As more people squeezed in to see what had happened, a bunch of women screamed and then the place was up in a panic. Thinking
quick Count Henry raced to the door to stop people from exiting, and then raised his voice over the loud panic. “No one will be allowed to leave the manor until the authorities say to, was might have a murderer in at this auction and we cannot afford to let him out and free!” At that he sent the man he had on the perimeter to get the police not telling him what for so he can be excluded from the suspect list. The man with the sword aided Henry at the door to keep everyone in.
In the crowd Lady Sabriela was freaking, out and not because someone’s blood was spilt on a painting, she had lost track of her little Mow and couldn’t find her anywhere. Her bodyguard Mr. Suko was busy helping out and Tempopo joined by her mother was scolding Dea again for being a disgrace for boasting about vampires. Sabriela had to find Mow before she was hurt by a panicking citizen. Sabriela had no desire to get mixed up in the squabble. She made her way slowly through the crowd hoping to see the little girl as quickly as possible.
Shifibaku asked the girl if she was alright and she replied “I’m fine, like my dress it’s just like Sabriela’s one, she made them her-self! My name is Mow Yin, what is yours?” Then for an answer she waited. “My name is Shifibaku, where are your parents they must be worried?” Shifibaku said with a little thought. His plans had nothing to do with a murder and with that he didn’t want to get into the matter that caused such a commotion. She said happily “I have no parents I’m with Sabriela! :)” then Shifibaku said with a smile “Allow me to pick you up so you can see as we go find Lady Sabriela.” It took little time to find her for she was the only one who wasn’t yelling or in conversation about the situation. Her face was full of pain and she seemed at the
brink of tears. This expression however; seemed to melt away as her eyes found the little Mow smiling. When she reached them she took the mow from him and hugged the little girl saying “Thank you, I don’t know what I would do if I lost her! T_T” letting the tears spill out and run down her cheeks. Sabriela felt relieved that there was at least one descent man among the crowd of oversize monkeys and she said so. “Actually I am from Reptiliand, the name is Shifibaku Yamastu.” Shifibaku corrected her although there is no way for her to know what he had meant by it. “Sabriela Hellena, it’s a pleasure to meet you.” She had only got half of what he had said, but was trying to be polite. Her nerves that just seemed to calm soared out again when Shifibaku took her hand and instead of kissing it like a gentle man of this time, he licked it with a snakes forked tongue.
