~Solaris~
“Apollo, are you sure this is the place?” I whispered to the small orange tabby at my side.
He looked around, surveying the area. “I am sure that at least one scout will appear here soon. When exactly, I cannot tell,” he told me returning to his guarded position.
“Well, we don’t have much other choice than to stay here until they do,” I nodded, sitting on the edge of the building, lifting my dress so my legs wouldn’t get caught in it if I had to jump up quickly. “The youma are moving,” I whispered.
“Yes,” Apollo nodded. “But there is nothing we can do about it. Defeat the youma, and we may never find the scout who is to appear here.”
I sighed, resting my chin on my knees, “I know.”

“Hey, do you want to go to the arcade?” my best friend Tiko nudged me, pointing in the direction of the arcade.
I shook my head, “Maybe not today.”
“Aww, why not?” she whined. “You never turn down the arcade, is something up?” she looked me over, placing a hand on my forehead to check if I had a fever.
“I’m fine,” I laughed, pushing her away. “I gotta go. See ya later!” I waved, leaving her standing there. I know I had said I hadn’t want to go to the arcade, but I knew that was a lie. I really, really wanted to go. But my mom had banned me from it after I’d wasted my entire allowance in 10 minutes. “2 minutes couldn’t hurt,” I convinced myself, turning back through a side street.
I was about to turn the corner when and orange cat jumped in front of me and blocked my path. “Milady! I found one!” the cat called out. Wait... the cat called out?
“T-t-t-t-t-TALKING CAT!” I cried, jumping back and turning to run away.
A girl in a long orangey dress blocked my path. “Wait! We mean you no harm,” she held her hands out. “My name is Solaris and I-” she was cut off by a loud bang.
We both looked up to see some kind of monster standing on the building ledge. “Ooh hoo!” it laughed. “We found the princess! We found the princess! Mistress will be so happy!”
“We?” I picked out the word looking around and realising that the monster wasn’t alone.
“Apollo! Quick!” Solaris cried, holding out her hand to the cat. He nodded jumped into the air, a pendant appearing as he landed. “Sun crystal power, make up!” she called out. There was a bright flash of light, and when I opened my eyes, Solaris had disappeared. A girl wearing some kind of sailor girl outfit was standing in her place. “Take care of the girl, I’ll deal with these guy,” she told the cat before a staff looking thing appeared in her hand as she whispered something.
“You,” Apollo turned to look at me. “Place a hand on the symbol on my forehead.” I realised for the first time that there was a symbol that slightly resembled the sun on the cat’s head. I nodded, confused, and shakily reached my hand out. It almost felt like there was a strong gust of wind as my first finger connected with the symbol. “Aha, a moon child is it?” he smiled, which was creepy, since he was, well... a cat. “Take this.” He jumped again, another pendant appearing. I picked it up and stared at it stupidly. The cat sighed, “Now call out ‘Moon Crystal Power’”
I nodded, “Moon crystal power, make up!”
