~Minori Aino~
"I'll see you later, then!" I called over my shoulder with a wink as I walked away from my group of friends. They yelled their replies and soon I was walking aimlessly through the city.
"Where am I going, exactly?" I wondered out loud. I shook my long black hair out and continued on my stroll, breathing in the clean air and taking in the sights of the city.
An idea popped into my head. I would go to the arcade and talk to the cute manager there! My feet seemed to walk towards the arcade of their own accord. I began spacing out, and soon I had collided with another girl.
"Sorry!" she apologized, looking at me with wide green eyes.
"Don't worry about it," I replied, tilting my head as I heard a commotion coming from the other side of the street.
I began to walk across the street, but then thought better of going alone. What if there was some robber over there just waiting to steal my purse? No. It would be better to go with someone else.
"Hey, you! Come with me!" I exclaimed, grabbing the quiet red-headed girl's arm and pulling her to the other side of the road.
"Where are we going?" she asked softly.
"Didn't you hear that noise?" I answered. I rounded the corner just in time to see a girl standing there with a cat. She seemed to be... Transforming, or something. Her outfit completely changed into a sailor uniform, and a tiara appeared on her head.
"What the...?" I wondered out loud, tilting my head in confusion. The cat's attention focused on me and the girl I was still holding onto, and its eyes seemed to widen. A cat's eyes widening. I almost felt the urge to laugh.
"Milady! I found two more!" the cat yelled to someone I couldn't see. A girl in a yellow and orange sailor suit appeared holding a staff, and she glanced in my direction before nodding at the cat.
"A t-talking cat?" The girl I had brought with me stammered, her eyes as disbelieving as mine.
"This can't be real," I stated, shaking my head. My pink eyes gazed at the scene, and the cat galloped towards me and stood in front of us both.
"Please place your hand on the symbol on my forehead," he instructed, looking towards me.
Shocked that a cat was ordering me to do something, I just stood there open-mouthed. He sighed and gestured with his head again, as if saying 'Come on, hurry up with it.'
I shook my head and placed my hand on his forehead, feeling a tingling sensation spread throughout my body. I felt a strong feeling of happiness before it slipped away and the cat seemed to smile.
"A child of Venus, hmmm?" he seemed to mutter to himself. “Take this.” A pen with a symbol resembling a heart on top of a cross appeared, and I took it from him.
"Now say, Venus Power, Make-up!" he explained, but somehow I knew what I had to say even before he told me. It felt like the right thing to say at that moment.
"Venus Power, Make-Up!"
