This post is a little late for this, Ive been lazy/busy for the past few days, so I just wanted to say that I had a great birthday :3
I spent most of the day with my dad, he took me out to lunch, and we went around town.
What about my gifts you may ask? Well from my dad I got $16 with which I spent it on the 13th DeathNote book. I got a Wacom Bamboo Create drawing tablet from my two aunts. Its really nice too! Its a lot larger than I thought it would be, but thats alright, more drawing space for me. I already have drawn three pictures, one in progress, with it on Photoshop Esssentials. Im completely used to the tablet now, the only thing I have to get used to is Photoshop. I often forget how to color correctly...
I also got a blue 3DS from my mom and grandma. Its also really nice, though I havent played with it much. Though I have played the two built in games, the face one and the card one. I showed my grandma and she thought that that was cool xD
From my best friend I got two things of FOOD! Cookies and these chocolote/peanut covered angel food cake slices, both of which are good.
And from my Chinese friend I got the DeathNote book "L Change the World" and a pack of her manga paper. Ive been really wanting that manga paper after I saw how she had drawn her Gintama fan-fic on it, but didnt know where to buy it, cause it was Chinese.
And thats not all I got, because I also got two little animals! A kitten of 4 weeks old and a birdy. The kitten I named Fiesty, cause he can be so fiesty when he's playful xD. The bird I named Snow, for two reasons. She's white with a little bit of blue, so she reminded me of the snow. And with that name she reminds me of Snow from FF13 xD

I feel like drawing my God/Goddess RP (which I really should find a name out for) into a manga! I have a good amount of characters already! But bad thing is...I have no experience, nor know how to draw a manga! D:
Ive only attempted a manga once in my life, and that was only one page, and I didnt even want to draw it. Turned out kinda horrible actually. There were only about four panels in it anyways. But now I am motivated to draw a manga! I should read Bakuman, maybe it will help me learn how to draw manga well. I know my Chinese friend, Kelly, has drawn a fan-fic manga of Gintama, and let me tell you, its AMAZING! She also drew a four paged fan-fic of Gintama as role-playing Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, which got published into a Chinese manga book (much to the equivalence of Aka ShonenJump, in the sense that it contains new manga) called I do believe "Guest". She showed it to me, cause her mom bought and shipped it to her here in the U.S. It has a pic of GinGin on the front x3
Still, the urge to draw the manga is great O,..,O

I finally have a three-digit number of subscribers! I'd like to thank everyone who has subscribed to me from now until the first day I joined theOtaku. Its been a wonderful time here, whether it be from chatting and meeting new friends and fellow artists or just getting subscribers from liking my art. And I must tell you, looking back at all of what Ive drawn, Ive definetely improved. Anatomy, style, design, story, etc.
I would like to thank all of my subscribers personally, however, if I dedicated a drawing/wallpaper/card to each individually, well...that'd be a lot of works...and effort...and time..WHICH I dont have much of ^.^;;
However, I will be creating something to celebrate my 100 subscriber achievement (Im just copying what Ive seen other otaku on here do). I'll leave what I'll make up to you though, my fellow Otakus and subscribers. Would you all rather have me make a fan art, wallpaper, or eCard? I am fine with any, lets make this a vote whynot. For all of you that see and read this, comment with your choice, and I'll pick which one has the most votes. (Course, my worlds posts dont get much views/comments, so I'll probably end up choosing myself ;o)
I will also create a fan art and dedicate it to my 100th subscriber, Zuzu Uchiha. Which I already have an idea in mind. I would also like to thank caosgoth, hanawa, zzppo, alphonse13, and MangaKid for all of their lovely and helpful comments and critique!
*sigh* A week or so ago I was on a drawing kick, I had so many ideas to get drawn down. Well, there all drawn now, most of them being characters from my book. Bad thing is, they dont have names! I finally found a name for one of them, but another (another few I should say) is nameless. I need about two names, actually...five now. One for a dad, one for a knight, one for a tiger fighter dude, and two for twin cheetah cats.
Sometimes I really hate coming up with names, other times its easy. It depends on if one of my characters screams a name out to me, or if I have to research a name. Like Kita. I named her a long time ago, just because I liked her name. I googled what it meant, if it meant anything at all, in japanese. Turned out that it meant North in Japanese. Well her brother, I had to research a proper name for him. Since her name meant a direction, I wanted his name to mean a direction in Japanese too. So I found one, that meant West, Nishi. And there it was. Now another name I need is for a cat knight (viewable on my fan arts). I have no idea what to call him.
Another name I need to come up with is for Leanne and Luna's dad. Three characters I had just found out I wanted/needed to create more in-depth also need names (after in the middle of typing up a chapter of my book). One is a cat, tiger, very tough dude he is, nicknamed the Tiger of Nahai (a bit of a parody on the "The Tiger of Kai" for any of you Samurai Warriors fans). Im sure (or at least thats what I think now) that he wont be too hard to name.
The other two are his partners, buddies if you will, cheetah cats, who fight alongside him. They are going to be twins. Boy and girl, girl and girl, or boy and boy Im not too sure yet (thinking about BxB). I also have to think of designs for them and the tiger, plus names! I know their extremely minor characters, but I cant leave out anyone. I dont know why, maybe just cause I love racking my brain on designs and names for almost pointless characters.
Do you have any ideas I wonder? Im up for any names, just throw em at me like bombs! Well....I hope they wouldnt blow up in my face like bombs do, but you get the comparison. Aside from my ramblings, heres a song by Dir En Grey (which I cant seem to get a free download from anywhere so it can go onto my iPod, stubborn thing) called Ware, Yami Tote... I cant believe I havent made a post for this yet, but to say in short, my Chinese friend got me into finally reading/watching Gintama last year. Ever since, Ive been reading it online, and watching it on AnimeCrazy.net. I even have an account there too! Search up Dokuganryuu if you too are registered, and befriend me!
Anyways, Gintama is a really good anime/manga. Its always comedical, but sometimes its serious. I always usually laugh during each episode. The description of the series (currently about 246 episodes long, each episode being 24min long):
In the early 17th century, Japan adopted strict isolation policies and severed almost all ties with foreign countries. In 1853, the US fleet commanded by Admiral Perry forced the doors open, leading to a modernization of the nation's sociopolitical systems and the eventual fall of the Shogunate. The samurai regime ended its life with the imperial restoration in 1868. That's what history tells, but in Gintama, that's not what happens. Instead of the US fleet, the country is stormed by spaceships coming from four corners of the universe and soon we see it occupied by extraterrestrials. The Shogunate has become a puppet of alien occupation armies. All samurais have been disarmed and reduced to temp workers with no skills who just try to make ends meet. Gintama is a story of a handyman named Gintoki, a samurai with no respect for rules set by the invaders, who's ready to take any job to survive. He and his gang, however, are also among the very few who have not forgotten the morale of a swordsman. Wherever they go, all they do is to create troubles. Troubles that they of course try to solve, but in reality...
And there it is! Gin is always doing odd jobs for the Yorozuya, whether it be saving a princess (or a stubborn alien prince who love to keep monsters as pets, usually causing trouble), getting the last issue of ShonenJUMP from another fan, fighting against the Shinsengumi, or even just eating a kurege udon (jellyfish parts in noodles [sounds delish, no?]) meal, which would not be made by Otae, thats for sure. But to commemorate to all the goodness, I'll post my two favorite songs from Gintama (since YouTube doesnt allow episodes on it, copyright stuff and whatnot. So sit back, relax and enjoy!
