Twilight is a lot like the Cirque de Freak series. They both involve vampires being the most obvious reason. Also in both, though, there is a human that meets a vampire and should be scared of them, but instead is drawn to them and ends up wanting to became one(they both do become one also, but it doesn't happen in Twilight, it happens in its sequel). Then there is the fact that the vampires try to remain hidden and therefore humans don't know of their existence. Another similarity is that there are good vampires and bad vampires in both and the good ones try to keep the bad ones from exposing their world. All these similarities make Twilight and Cirque de Freak a lot alike.
