Chapter 6.
Xume, Sasuke and Hinata stood facing each other as the midday breeze blew the strands of hair that was left a stray. Xume crossed her arm and death glared Sasuke as Sasuke death glared her. 'I hate you' she mouthed at him, 'who gives a crap?' he mouthed back. Poor Hinata was confused, she didn't know that they knew each other.
"Hina-chan..." said Xume breaking the silence, Hinata turned to look at her, Hinata's breathing was now back to normal.
"hai?" she asked.
"meet Teme." although she didn't show it, Hinata was quiet shock, Xume hates a lot of things, she hates how Sakura whines, she hates how when she wants quiet she can't have it, and she hates not having chocolate by her side at all time, but what Haruno Xume hates in the whole world was the mysterious Teme.
"T-Teme?" Hinata squeaked, yep Xume hate Teme, it's all she talks about, what a jerk he is, how unfair he treats people, and for the next 3 months of the new summer, this is who Hinata has to spend her days with...
"don't you have anything better to do Haruno?" Sasuke said in his usual monotone voice. Xume, who was facing Hinata at the time shot a look towards sasuke so fast that her raven black hair flew in the air for a moment.
"heh! As if I'll let Hinata-chan be alone with you! You'll break her into pieces!" Xume hissed.
"heh, you're not allowed to be here anyway, you're banned from training the Hyuuga and you have to stay away from her when she's training." Sasuke replied back calmly, "and her training starterd 5 minutes ago." he added. Xume just kept giving him dirty looks, it was true she was banned, but right now, she wanted to protect Hinata from him, he wasn't the right one to train him.
"Xume-chan, you better go, father will ask Uchiha-san about my training, I don't want you to get into any more trouble..." the shy Hinata said as she gently pushed her friend signalling her to leave, Xume rolled her eyes,
"fine" she gave in, "but I'm watching you." she added pointing at Sasuke who stood there, emotionless. Xume continued to walk up the path then she stopped midway and turned around. she then shouted.
"OI HINA-CHAN! DON'T FORGET IT'S MOVIE MONDAY TODAY!! MY HOUSE THIS TIME!!"
"HAAAAAAAI!!" came a reply.
When Xume had finally left the scene, Hinata turned around and found that sasuke was still standing there, it doesn't seem like he had moved even a muscle since he last spoked, she didn't like standing here with him, there isn't anyone else around and she was quiet scared.
"uh..." she said triying to break the silence.
Sasuke stood there, his armed folded across his chest and he decide that it was time to break the silence.
"is there a place you like to train?" he calmly said, when Hinata shook her head, he assumed that it was a 'no'. "get your shirukens and kunais out, we'll start with a basic test to see how good you are with aiming and throwing, okay?" Hinata nodded. not good, she thought, I left my shirukensa and kunais at home.
"uh...Uchiha-san?" she squeked, he didn't reply, instead he turned to look at her, "uh..." Hinata starterd to fiddle with he fingers, "I f-forgot my th-things." she blurted, and if Sasuke didn't naturally have good ears, he wouldn't have heard that. He wasn't liking the day so far, he's stuck with a Hyuuga who's a girl, and she's hopeless! Sasuke gave a sigh and threw a couple of shirukens and kunais that landed exactly beside a pebble that was resting 30cm away from Hinata's feet. Hinata took a step backward, when the weapons were fliying in her direction, she thought he was about to attack her. "thanks" she whispered.
Sasuke observed as Hinata aimed and threw her shirukens and kunais, she had done a lot of weapon throwing practice with Kurenai sensei, and she's very good at it, but for some reason, she keeps on missing the target.
"stop hesitating." sasuke repeated for the 100th time, Hinata was under presure, it's like she was being judge, she nodded to show him that she understood.
she threw the kunai and missed.
Sasuke sighed again and walked over to her, "the way you're holdin the weapon is alo wrong" he took hold of the shiruken that layed in her hand and fit in her hand so that she's holding near the tip of the weapon and not the whole first half. "there" he whispered, his breath brushing agaisnt her ear, Hinata's back shivered, but he didn't notice, "now try" he added as he took three steps back, Hinata threw the shiruken aiming for the little red dot that was marked on the post, bulleyes, Hinata blinked at her result while Sasuke smirked at his amazing teaching skills.
The two continued training until Sasuke stopped throwing Kunais. "that's it for today." he said as he packed away his things.
"that's it?" Hinata asked.
"uh-huh" came a quiet and low reply. "go home, get washed, eat then rest well for tomorrow's training." he starterd to walk up, but stopped when he relized that he was walking alone.He turned around and saw that Hinata was still training. "what are you doing? I told you to go home." He said as she froze.
"uh...I know, but it's only 7.30, I usually go home at 8.00, so I'm going to stay back and train some more." Hinata replied, hoping that he wasn't mad at her.
"I don't care if you're used to training till you collapsed, I'm your trainer and I order you to pack your things and go home" He replied thorugh gritted teeth, he was really pissed of by this one. Hinata admitted defeat and so packed up all her things. the began to walk side by side(since they were going the same direction), until they came to a Y shape turning point.
"bye U-Uchiha-san." Hinata waved, she waited for him to start walking and then she went her way, Hinata didn't make more than 10 steps, she then stood still and listened, she listened to Sasuke's foot step on the ground, and as seconds went passed, it starterd to fade...and fade...and fade untill the only noise she could hear was the sound of the birds that stood on a branch on a nearby tree. she then happilly turned on her heels and starterd walking back to the training ground, she went pass the Y crossing point and then stopped in her tracks at the sound of the monotoned voice.
"Do you think I'm stupid?" The black haired Uchiha asked as he rested on the pole in the middle of the crossing. heh, he thought, I've used that trick all the time when Itachi and I used to tr- Sasuke shaked the image of his brother out of his mind, Hinata turned to look at her trainer, she hung her head in defeat, it never failed with Kiba...
"sorry" she replied.
"I'm walking you home." said Sasuke as he grab hold of her arm by the wrist and dragged her to the Hyuuga estate.
When they reached the front Gate, which was kust as big as Konoha's front gate, Sasuke rang the door bell, and a woman's voice came through the speakers,
"can I help you?" asked the woman, Sasuke pushed Hinata to the speakers and signaled to her to speak.
"uh...Ame-san? It's H-Hinata, ca-n-n y-you open the g-g-gate?" Hinata asked as she tiptoed up to the speakers
"huh? Hinata-hime is that you?" Ame asked back,
"h-ai" Hinata replied as she blushed, she didn't really like being called Hime. The gate swung opened and Hinata took a step back and gained back her full stand.
"come on in" said Ame. Hinata turned to wave back at Sasuke, he just nodded, his face still expresionless, he then made his leae and Hinata entered her family's estate, she made her way to the main house Mansion to get ready for Movie Monday...which was happening in an hour, she has lots more time.
