Hello everyone!! Long time no see again, huh? It's been 3 months since I've posted art so I apologize for my not being here more often T__T. It's been busier than any other year work-wise because of study abroad applications/scholarships that are due in January! I had to finish everything this early though because my professors who are writing recommendation letters for me had asked for them prior to winter break...right in the middle of finals week. OTL
In any case though, here I am! I've come back with my half of a way-overdue art trade with Ima-chan/FUNimation that I hope you all like ^^ I'm so sorry for my delay with comments and messages...it's only natural that none of you would pay me any heed when I haven't really been around to comment on any of your works. >.< So please don't worry about commenting on the pic above or anything. I'll get back to you all as best as I can in regards to your work and comments!
I have one more picture left on my to-do list as of now, which is my art trade with Bic-chan finally >.< So so late, but I'm finally getting around to it and I've got an idea of what I want to draw for it, so here's to hoping it all works out. @__@
Otherwise, not much has been happening due to my work just having finished up on Saturday LOL. My dad is home now for the holidays, so I'm really really happy about that, and the atmosphere has lightened up a bit in my home. ^^ It's going to be a busy, yet fun Christmas break for sure!!

Hello everyone!! Thank you all so much for the feedback on the last post~ I've decided to go with my gut and not host a Christmas SS this year, but rather try hosting a Valentine's Day SS, which I haven't really seen done that often before haha! So yeah, thank you to all of you guys who said you'd join an SS hosted by me, but I think I'll step back this year and focus on doing a Valentine's Day one next year. ^^
Other than that, my Thanksgiving break has now begun!! So I'm going to be spending it with family and hopefully friends too this year. ^^ I hope you all are doing well and hopefully I can get some artwork done this year as well!!

Hello everyone!! This is going to be a really short post, but I have been getting tons of mail/comments asking if I will host an SS fanart event this year again because a lot of people liked that I did last year xD
The initial decision was that, since MangaKid and alphonse13 have already created an SS fanart event, I would not make one because I didn't want to create any sorts of divisions between people that would make anyone have trouble deciding whether or not they'd like to join my event or theirs haha. They've even used my rules and formatting from last year with some minor modifications, so I felt like that kind of sealed the deal, but I don't know. Haha they said they were waiting for someone to start an event, and I was planning to make it this weekend before they beat me to it last weekend xD But in any case...
What do you guys think? Do you still want me to host an SS fanart event?
EDIT: What about if I created an SS fanart event that differed in theme or something? Any thoughts on that?
I've gotten a pretty decent number of mails/comments about people wanting me to host it again, so I'm still a bit torn. xD But if I get enough feedback on this post/more PMs asking me to do it, I'll host another SS fanart event. >.< I really did have fun doing it last year, so let me know what you all think!

I've never started any of my World/myOtaku posts that way before haha. But I figured it's about time that I did, because I don't think I tell you guys enough just how much I love and appreciate you all. >//<
I know it's been a little over a month since I made my last World post (I've been so busy, I couldn't even make any World posts saying I was busy LOL), but I wanted to let you guys know I was REALLY overwhelmed by the wishes, gifts and thoughtful messages I got for my birthday last month! I really really was. I almost cried reading them all haha, and I don't cry very easily at all!
It's common courtesy to go back and thank everyone, but really I received so many, it'd be incredibly difficult to do so xD I really am SO grateful for each and every one of you for being there for me~ I even received some wishes and gifts from people who have subbed/been watching me secretly on here whom I've never spoken to and it was amazing to hear from them and everyone who took time out of their day to say even the littlest thing to me on that day!
So I really wanted to say thank you and I love you all so so much. >//< I don't give you all NEARLY enough for all that you deserve and for the kindness you've shown me.
To highlight a few things aside from that, life has been nothing but busy haha! It's not always a bad busy though, aside from serious lack of time to draw and the occasional breakdown from stress. xD I can handle it though, because I know I've got such supportive people by me. =)
So art-wise, I've sadly become one of those people who has a million WIPs and can somehow not bring myself to finish a single one T__T I'm currently working on 2 art trades, which have been overdue for more than a year OTL, a couple of gifts and several projects for myself that I've literally been working on for 2 years *sigh*. I PROMISE I'll finish them though. I NEED to haha, not just for me, but for you guys! I haven't posted art in so long, so I really owe you all some wonderful submissions for my comeback.
On another note, I was thinking of hosting the Secret Santa event for Fanart this year again after all the requests I got last year, but MangaKid and alphonse13 beat me to it with their SS Fanart Event for 2012, and honestly I'm glad they did! haha I know they'll do a great job and I encourage you all to enter!! There are a pretty decent handful of participants so far =)
For other SS events (all of which are hosted by my friends!), you should look for chibi-anna-chan's E-card Secret Santa Event, StarSmiles' iWallpapers Secret Santa Event, ItachiSasuke's SS Wallpaper Event and Ritona Raito's SS Icon Event, (which I think is the first time there has been one!)~ All of the people hosting these events are people whom I know will be reliable and wonderful hosts, so don't hesitate to check out their events!! ^^ I might enter a few as well~!
So for the SS events above, please spread the word!! We want to make it another special Christmas on theOtaku this year with the spirit of giving, and it won't happen unless we help spread the word about these wonderful events!

Hello everyone!! Long time no see, huh? There's been so much happening with me that I'm not sure I can possibly fill you in on it all, but I thought it might be about time that I updated you guys on what's happening. Though I've lost a few watchers here and there, I've also gained a few too, so thank you so much for everyone who's stuck with me thus far! I have a special submission series that I have to show you all, but only after I finish. There are so many things that are in progress right now and it's clashing heinously with my other real-life priorities, so it's been difficult T__T
Even so, art-wise, I HAVE been drawing a bit actually! It's been a lot of fun because they've mostly been for friends' birthdays, but I'm slowly starting to realize that because I enjoy the process for them, it's fun to make time for them even in the late hours haha.
As for other things, well I guess there's not much to say. My friend in Japan and I have been keeping in touch, but classes have started for him and his schedule is ridiculous, so he's been crazy busy haha. But we're both doing our best, so there's nothing more I can do but work hard as I have been! I also can't believe it's only two weeks away until my birthday on October 14th! >.< It's going to be weird not saying that I'm 18 anymore haha.
I've also been brainstorming on a new DA ID because it's been forever ago since I changed it (it's got goals for 2011 lol...), so I'm going to brainstorm well on the suggestions you guys gave me before on a new one and hopefully make a new one! There's sooo much for me to do nowadays haha, it's ridiculous! xD
In other news, I finished my very first J-drama, Hanazakari no Kimitachi E Ikemen Paradise 2007 and it was AMAZING!!<3 I love the manga series and I think the drama series mostly did it justice, but I wish there was a tad bit more romance for Mizuki and Sano >.< I love them so much haha- it may sound sad but the way their relationship worked out is kind of what I think love should be like! Pure and innocent =)
