Well, I promised that this would be a more upbeat post, but I have some bad news. My computer crashed (my brand new computer [1 year old] named Franky). Fortunately, I was able to make copies of all my important files onto an external hard drive. Also, it turns out that there are 2 laptops at my cottage (my dad brought 1 from work), so I don't have to share with my brother, but they're still rather slow.
I'm gonna post some stuff about MyOtaku on OtakuBoards to promote MyOtaku, and hopefully gain the attention of MyOtaku/TheOtaku's managers. @.@ By the way, does anybody know whether or not new TheOtaku members are able to join MyOtaku yet? Also, I'm thinking of posting some stuff in my review World. I don't think I'm gonna be able to get much work done on EPWW (fancomic), so I might try working on it during the school year... O.O Also, I can't make any more AMVs until Franky is fixed. I've been drawing a bit, but it'll be a while until I put up the picture, since my scanner is at my house. This post sounds like a to-do list, now. XD So busy!
*thinks about something more interesting* I've finished watching the whole Cowboy Bebop series along with the first Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex season. They're both awesome! I've bought the Cowboy Bebop OSTs, and I'm going to buy the GitS: SAC OSTs soon. ^.^ I'm almost done watching the Claymore anime, but the ending isn't looking so good. However, the manga is fantastic! ^.~

1. Older movies tend to have better themes than new movies. However, I agree that the effects and acting are usually better in modern movies. Also, I prefer older comedy (any time before 2000) and horror (90s) movies because they're more original. Modern action and drama movies are more entertaining, though. So depending on the genre, I'm neutral overall.
2. If it's hot and if I'm not going outside, no socks for me. Usually I put my socks on before my pants.
3. I have a whole theory in the making about craftsmen (writer), sports figures (hockey player), and prostitutes. Overall (to keep this short), it's led me to conclude that prostitution should be legalized, but regulated in some way to prevent the spread of disease and to prevent the money made from being spent in criminal activities. XD

Well, I'm currently on the island, using a Rogers internet stick. So I'm gonna try to visit sites this weekend using it. However, my computer at my cottage is dying, so it might be a while until I get back on. Now, all I have are really slow computers that I have to share with my brother, so yeah that sucks.
It always sucks on the island. My family is making my life a living hell as always. THEY lost MY coat (I only have 2 coats, so basically I'm gonna freeze to death if I'm lucky). When I started giving them hell for losing my coat, THEY got all pissy at ME. Then we went to my dad's friend's cottage (by boat, and all of the other young people were preps (sluts, and people who can't think for themselves), so that was boring. Then there was a massive rain storm, and all the holes in the top of the tent were over my brother and I, so only my parents got some rest.
This morning has already started off nicely. I was pissed after a lousy yesterday, and accidentally said "get lost you little c*nt" to a bee that landed on my sandwich. Then my parents got pissy at me again, because little girls can't say bad words; only boys, like my younger brother.

It’s summer time, so I’m back! I’m somewhat busy this summer, but I’m gonna try to come on as often as I can. I’m going to the first wedding that I’ve ever been to next weekend, then the weekend after that I’m going to my dad’s friend’s birthday party at his cottage (no internet). I’ve started working at Scotiabank again, but I’m only working there for July. Then I’m hoping to find another job in retail near my house, since my parents won’t let me take the bus to work at a mall. -_- It’s nice seeing all my old friends from work, though. My boss, Sean, got transferred to New York City, and my other boss, Shayne, had his second child. ^.^
How do y’all like the new theme? I hope there aren’t too many pictures. Up above there are 2 AMVs that I’ve made; some of you have seen the first one I think, but it would be greatly appreciated if you could check out the second one! Is it all right that the videos are on Megavideo? I have the first one on Photobucket and the second one on YouTube. So if it’s difficult to load the Megavideo ones, I can change them. I ran into copyright issues on YouTube and Photobucket, but Megavideo doesn’t seem to have any and it’s better quality.
I have a new fanart drawing that includes the characters in this theme that y’all can check out. You don’t have to read the long description or anything; I was just teaching the rules of the card game that they’re playing in the drawing and introducing the characters again.
I’ll start working on my fanmanga, Evil People Will Win (EPWW), on the weekdays after work. Also, I’ll keep working in the VVRC, because I don’t like what I see with the Premium membership and limitations and crap. >.<
I’m sorry that I don’t have a lot of interesting things to talk about. I’ve just been working my ass off in school and I got a 90.5% average to show for it. ^.~ So tell me the important stuff that I’ve missed while I’ve been gone! 1. Thanks, rabidminpin, for the name for my computer! Franky is a great name, since I just watched the sequel to Donnie Darko not too long ago! By the way, the sequel (S. Darko) sucked, so you should just watch the original! ^.^;
2. Nah, I don’t really buy things just if I see them on sale. However, I have a friend like that. She took up knitting when she saw knitting supplies on sale once. XD
3. I wish they’d let the noobs (I don’t mean “noobs” in a negative way, just to clarify) come on MyOtaku. Like ElvesAteMyRamen said, you can make sites more unique and creative than Worlds, and people comment more here. TheOtaku is becoming more like Facebook and DeviantArt, unfriendly and money-motivated. -_- Maybe I can show a bunch of noobs the wonders of MyOtaku that they’re missing, and get them to put pressure on Adam and followers… ^.^

Wee! It’s the long Easter weekend for me! Friday and Monday off! And I don’t have any homework! WOOOO! ^.^ I’m so happy just because I don’t have any homework. ^.~
So obviously I haven’t really been up to much due to all that homework. However, when I was shopping for some anime DVDs I found a box set of Cowboy Bebop DVDs for $60, which is a really good price for anime here. So I’ve just finished watching Cowboy Bebop and it’s awesome! I definitely recommend it, because I don’t think anybody can dislike this anime; Cowboy Bebop has great, unique characters and interesting themes and good music and everything! ^.^ Homework and watching Cowboy Bebop have been the only things I’ve been doing lately.
During the Spring Break I went to Barbados. There’s awesome weather in Barbados and so many Bob Marley fans (that made me happy)! *^.^* I have some photos from Barbados, but I warn you that there are a lot of them:

Also, while I was in Barbados working on a history project and 60 goddamn history textbook questions (yes, my teacher is a jerk at times), I made some fanart! I was on DeviantArt a bit last night, tackling that list of 600 pictures to look at. I’m trying to check out other people’s fanart and stuff, but on TheOtaku it’s a little more difficult because the update thingy is retarded. By the way, whatever happened to the VersionVibrant Resistance Corps? It seems to me that TheOtaku has been getting worse, and MyOtaku has been deserted. We need to get a bunch of people to start complaining again. -_- This premium membership crap is driving me nuts, and now TheOtaku is just like all those other sites; it used to be unique with it’s friendly and welcoming community and home page news section, but now it’s developed classes and has craploads of advertisements everywhere.

1. My life’s been rather hectic. Going to Barbados with all that homework didn’t help, and my teachers aren’t too good this semester.
