“So why haven’t you made any friends here? I’m sure there would be a lot of people
who would like to be your friend.” I said still smiling..
“I think its too late for me to make friends here.” He said sadly.
“No it’s not.” I coked my head to look at his face.
“I want to be your friend.” I said looking at his sad face.
His face glowed a little bit when I offered my friendship.
“Hey Grassy you hanging out with the loner now?”
I hared one of the boys in my class say followed by
a lot of giggling and chuckling from other people.
“Shut up you stupid no-branded Idiots!” I yelled at them.
“You shut up !”
“Yah nice come back.” I said sarcastically.
“Heh so I guess Julia is right about you.” one boy said smiling.
“What exactly did Julia say?” I scowled at him.
“that as soon as Demetri was gone you would go find some
one ells to play with.” He sneered.
I narrowed my eyes. And stood up.
“What makes you think that Julia is telling the truth? She could
easily make something up and passed it on as a rumor.” I said narrowing my eyes
He just stayed silent. “That’s what I thought.”
I said smiling at my easy victory.
“I like your costume.” Rodolfo said after ten minutes of silence.
I looked over and noticed he was the cowardly lion from Wizard of oz.
I giggled and said “ Yours look pretty good too.” I giggled again.
He blushed and looked down at his hand’s. I guess he’s shyer than I thought.
“Thanks my sister picked it out for me. I lost a bet to her.” He
said still looking at his hands. “How old is your sister?” I asked.
“Ten.” he blushed even more. I couldn’t help but giggle again.
“I did that to my older sister when I was here age. The only difference
was that she was a peanut.” I giggled while remembering Jessy dressed
as a peanut.
The rest of our period passed by fast. We said something every once in a while.
I didn’t have to stay in constant conversation with him like I did with Demetri.
It was nice but I starting to get anxious for the school day to
end so I could see Demetri at the dance.
We were talking about the dance when the bell rang.
He was going to be someone from the medieval time and I was going to be
a girl from the Victorian era.
I smiled and said. “I’ll see ya there.”
“Ya see ya there.” He said blushing.
I was at my car door when jiji and Fanny stopped me.
“What’s up?”
“Jessy tolled use your going to be a girl in the Victorian era too.”
Jiji said excitedly
“Yah.”
“So I’ll see you two at the dance.” Fanny said happily,.
“Yah see ya there.” I smiled and they both left.
When I got home I went straight to my room to get ready.
“This is kind of flashy.” I said to my self when my phone rang.
“Hello?” I said eagerly. I was hopping it was Demetri.
“Hey um grizzly I’m not going to be able to go to the dance.
I’m sorry.”
“Its ok. Well bye.” I said sadly and hung up on him.
I sighed and flopped on my bed.
“Well I guess it’s a good thing I didn’t put on my make-up yet.”
I said and sighed again.
