“hmm…uh what time is it?” I mumbled to myself it was morning
and I was heading off to see my dad in Bakersfield I wonder why
my dad lived in such a polluted place but it was his home so I didn’t complain
“Get up grizzly!” I was startled when I hared my mom yell that
I fell out my bed “Ouch.” I hit my head now that I look at my room
it’s a complete mess “Uhhh I need to clean my room.” I mumbled
as I got up from the floor I went to turn on my light it was so dark
so I was feeling the wall to find the switch I was still half asleep
when I found the switch I tried to turn it on but the light
wouldn’t go on I turned away from the light switch I didn’t
want to bother with it right now I pulled my shirt off and went
to look for my purple long sleeved shirt “Your not much
of a morning person are you?” a familiar voice from behind me
called out and automatically I stood up and covered my bear chest
when the light turned on the blood rushed state to my face.
When Demetri seen that I was topless he began to blush
and looked away fast apparently he didn’t know I took
my shirt off. “ Uh …sorry I um…” he trailed off when
he looked back at me “It’s ok y-you didn’t mean to
come in while I was changing.” I said looking at my floor
“Heh you look so cute when your blushing.” he said as
he grabbed the purple shirt I was looking for and handed
it to me “Here you better cover up.” he partially put the
shirt on over my arms I moved my arms to put them trough
the arm holes. “Um your mom tolled me about you not being
able to go see your dad so I thought maybe we could go out
today.” he said bluntly “Uh well ya sure I don’t see why not
I mean it will be nice to be alone with you.” I said happily as
he walked closer to me. He put his hand on my cheek and
leaned his head down and kissed my lips softly I closed
my eyes in hopes to make the moment last longer he chuckled
when stopped to breath “You act as if I wont ever kiss you again.”
He said laughing “I never know when I might have to leave
so I want to cherish these simple pleasures with you.” I laid
my head down on his chest his breathing was even he wrapped
his arms around me “What do you mean you don’t know
when you might have to leave?” he asked lifting my chin
up so he could look in my eyes “Uh n-nothing really but
my mom might have me move with my father.” I looked
away from him when I mentioned leaving because I
promised to do whatever I could to stay with him I
was right to look away I could feel his body get stiff
when he herded my answer “Look at me.” he whispered
in a harsh icy voice I did as he asked and I regretted
it greatly. His eyes were full of pain and sorrow.
“Demetri I said I might move but its very unlikely.”
I tried to comfort him it didn’t work he moved his
head so that his lips were at my ear his arms
tightened around my waist I clung to his body
“I’m sorry for bringing that up I swear I’ll do every
thing in my power to ovoid moving away from you.”
I croaked out “Its all right if I have to I’ll buy us
our own place and we can live together.” he
whispered in my ear I could tell that he wanted
that more than any thing else. “So what we going to do today?”
I asked trying to move to a less depressing subject “Hmmm.
..I don’t know to tell you the truth maybe we can go to Rollerama?
I hared that the hole gang is going to be there.” he said to me
looking really excited “Yah that will be nice.” I said laying my
head on his chest
[BREAK]
“Grizzly I have a surprise for you!” my mom
yelled out I went down stairs and gasped when I seen the twins
“No mom I’m not watching them!” I yelled when Demetri came
down the stairs and stood by my side the twins giggled “Grizzly’s
got a boyfriend, Grizzly’s got a boyfriend.” They sang in tune to
each other I put my hand over my eyes “Demetri this is Nathividad-”
“It’s Nathi grizzly.” Nathividad wined “Whatever Nathi and Nathan”
Demetri’s arm went around my waist and the wins giggled again.
“Shut up you two!” I yelled “You look so cute when your mad.” Demetri
said then kissed my cheek my mom giggled along with the twins this time
“M-mother!” I wined “Fine, fine you two get ready but you have to take
the twins with you.” She said smiling “Fine.” I said pouting “You look s-”
“don’t even say it.” I said walking back to my room as he followed me
Chuckling I slammed the door He kissed my cheek “Well someone’s
not in a good mood.” He said with his lips still on my cheek “Ewe
your slobbering on me!” I wined his arms wrapped around me so I
couldn’t get away from him he chuckled at my reaction his slobber
dripped down my cheek. He moved his head ‘Uh….D-Demetri …”
I stuttered his tong liked the slobber that dripped down my cheek. He
started nibbling on my earlobe it tickled so I tried to move away form
him but there was no where to move. “Oooooooooo your in trouble.”
The twins said when they walked into my room “No! You wouldn’t.”
I warned them “Aunty! Aunty! Come see what grizzly’s friend is
Doing!” The twins yelled and of coerce my mom came running up
“Griselda Manes! What do you think you are doing?!” she yelled
when she saw how Demetri held me “I-I’m g-getting hugged.” I said shyly
“Demetri get out of her room so she can change. And you are taking the
twins with you and I don’t want to hear any complaining!” She yelled again
Demetri let me go and walked out with the twins and my mom. My
mom slammed the door I sighed and grabbed my green and white striped long
sleeved shirt and my black skinny pants. I then went in search of my rainbow
socks and fingerless gloves which were on my dresser .
Soon I was done and ready to go. I ran down stairs “Ok lets go!” I yelled when
I saw the twins pulling on Demetri’s arms he looked pretty mad I giggled he
looked up and smiled at me “Ok you two come on we are going skating.” I
said holding out my hands for them to grab on to. They ran to me and took
hold of my hands I smiled at them “Lucky.” I hared Demetri say to himself
“Ok which car will we go in?” I asked the twins “Demetri’s car” I pointed
to his shinny red volts wagon “Or my car?” I pointed to my less shinny
blue Volvo “The blue one!” Nathan yelled pulling my right arm towards
my car “No the red one!” Nathi yelled and pulled me towards Demetri’s
car Demetri chuckled “Lets go in the blue one.” he suggested “But I’m
Driving grizzly.” he said putting his hand in front of me for the keys I let
go of Nathi’s hand and reached into my pocket, I pulled the keys out and
handed them to him., then let go of Nathan’s hand and opened the back
Door “Grizzly, will you sit with me?” Nathan asked me sounding innocent
“Sure I don’t see why I wouldn’t want to sit by you.” I patted his head
“Can I sit by you too?” Nathi asked “Of coerce you can now lets get in.”
“You know I’m going to be pretty lonely up here all alone.” Demetri said
to me “I would invite Ty and Jessy but there already gone so I guess
you’ll have to deal with it until we get there Mr. Lonely.” I mocked him.
We finally got there I got out with the twins and we all stretched.
“Lets go in, Lets go in!” the twins sang skipping to the entrance pulling
me along with them. Demetri followed us walking behind us not saying
anything I could tell he was sulking. Man I haven’t meat anyone so
Emotional ever. “Hey theirs aunty Jessy and uncle Ty!” the twins
squeaked with enjoyment “Why don’t you two go with your aunty
and uncle now. I bet they have a surprise for you.” I lied so I could get
some alone time with Demetri. “Yay a surprise!” they sang and skipped
to Ty and Jessy “That was a sneaky thing for you to do.” Demetri
whispered in my ear as he wrapped his arms around me, I giggled.
“So are we going to skate or not?” I asked him “Ok come on lets
get our skates.” he answered me and towed me to the counter
“One pair of skates and one pair of fore weller’s.” he tolled the
man at the counter “What size?” the man asked “The skates
will be size 10 and the fore weller’s size eight.” he answered the
Man. I then realized who the fore weller’s were for, me. I pouted
when he gave me the shoes he just looked at me and I gave up
“Lets see go what’s going on with the group.” He tolled me and
once again towed me away to the group like the first time we meat.
Now that was an interesting day. I wonder if today will be interesting,
well I guess I’ll find out eventually.
[BREAK]
“Grizzly Demetri over here I want you to meet some one!” Lena yelled
when she seen us. She was standing next to a boy that seemed to be
new he was very tall and had red hair and blue eyes. he wore a scarf
over a black long sleeved and had skinny jeans on. “Grizzly Demetri”
she looked at each of us as she spoke our names “This is Makhael.
He’s from Germany!” she gestured towered him “Lena was the
first person I meat here.” his blue eyes glistened when he ‘
mentioned his meeting with Lena “So Makhael what do you like?”
Brenda asked not able to hold her curiosity any longer
“I like aerodynamics, cars, and practically any thing mechanical.”
He admitted “Ok who want to get skating already!!” Jeff yelled eagerly
“Me!” everyone answered which made everyone burst into laughter.
Somehow I got stuck with watching the twins so me and the
twins never leafed each others hands. All together it was kind of
fun the twins learned fast, enough that we caught up with the rest
of the group. “Ah!” I hared on of the twins yell and the next thing
I knew I was falling back. I tried to steady myself by grabbing
Demetri’s arm but he lost his balance as well and grabbed Ally’s
arm who in turn grabbed Emmet’s arm and so on until all of the
group had fallen. I hurried to the twins, who were crying, to try to
calm them down. I picked them up and sat at an empty seat while
the others simply continued to skate I took off my skates and
replaced them with my regular shoes. The twins imitated me sniffing
and every one in a while a hiccup would come from there mouth. I
walked over to the man at the counter and handed him both mine
and the twins skates. “Can I get two hotdogs pleas?” I asked the
man I was sure the twins would be hungry by now “Sure here ya go.”
He smiled with unnecessary warmth I just smiled shyly back
“ Its on the house.” he said when he seen me reaching for my wallet
“Thank you.” I smiled sheepishly at him how nice it was for him to do
That. ‘No problem.” he said nicely I just giggled and walked back to the
twins and gave them there snacks. “Thanks Aunty Grizzly.” They said
to me when I gave them there hotdogs. They were hungrier than I
thought because they practically put the hole thing in there mouths
“Aunty Grizzly we want to go home now.” the twins wined after ten
minutes of silence “Ok lets get going then.” I said happy to finally
Leave. “Have a nice evening.” the man said as we walked past
“Thank you we will.” I answered smiling “Where do you three
think your going?” we turned around to see Demetri with his
arms crossed looking a bit annoyed “We are going home.”
the twins answered when I didn’t he seemed to be appalled
“Why not let me drive you home?” he asked me using the
full extent of his influence he had over me I pouted and he
knew he had won “Fine.” I said still pouting he just chuckled
and led the way to the car. I sat shotgun this time and the
twins for once didn’t wine the drive home was quiet, the twins
had fallen asleep. “So what was up with you and that guy at the counter?”
He asked when Demetri became aware of the sleeping twins “I was just being nice.”
I answered him with my eyes closed. “It seemed a little too nice to me.”
He was going about ninety miles now. “Will you slow down?” he
just ignored me and went on “I don’t like it when your that friendly
with other guys grizzly. Do you understand me.” he wasn’t asking a
question he was demanding me to do as he said. I just stayed silent
and in no time at all we were home. I woke the twins up so that they
could get to the spare room near my mothers room. I walked up to my
room tiredly from my day out. Demetri just followed me in silence.
I walked into my room he closed the door silently and locked it. He
then turned me around so that his eyes were holding mine. I didn’t
know if he was mad or if he just wanted to hug me, his face was like a mask.
In the first time ever since I meet him I was actually scared.
This was new when it came to being near him. I always felt
safe with him. But why, why do I feel so scared of him now?
why do I want to run away from him? Why?
