Come to the land of the ice and snow. . .
So, our little corner of the world got hit with some snow. Not a whole lot, but enough for me to go into work and say "No, Im not driving". It would have been extra money today for the time they wanted me in and the time I would have gotten back today, but its not really worth me risking my life. Its not that I lack confidence in my driving skills, but I worry about all the other people on the road on days like this. They tell us that "we can refuse to drive when we feel unsafe, I feel unsafe." I dont think they liked that.
Im off to check forecasts, and see if maybe, just maybe, they closed schools for tomorrow. Then its off to bed, as I have to be in early again tomorrow.

Deja Vu
I hope you all had better festivities for New Year's Eve than I did. I went out to a friend's house for a bit, then started to not feel quite right, so I made my way home. To ring in the New Year alone again, sigh. Thats not entirely true, I did speak with Shadow for a bit, before I went to bed at 2 am.
I go back to work on Monday, I am so not ready for it. Its been kinda nice to not wake up at 4:30 every morning. I know Im going to suffer until I can get back into rhythm of that shitty job.
Retrospections
Ive been seeing the "Decade's Favorite Anime" lists around. Im not going to do one of those, but I will give you a line or two for each year this past decade. 2000 - I turned 16. Parents got divorced, moved in with mom part time. 200...Up on the housetop, reindeer paws. . . FIRE!
There is no list of what I got. I didnt get anything. Money has been far too tight again this year for a Christmas. Im not too upset about it though, so dont feel sorry for me.
Its not I didnt get anything at all, I got some cards from some very awesome people.
And I got myself a new cell phone. A Samsung Impression, I cant recall if I mentioned that or not.
